Danny Sullivan is a legendary race car driver who is best known for his 360-degree spin on lap 120 of the 1985 Indianapolis 500. He was attempting to pass Mario Andretti and after recovering from the spin, he led the last 61 laps to become the 69th winner of the Indy 500 and the moniker “Spin to Win.” Danny is also known for being one of the first “big” personalities in motorsports by using his fame to help promote his sponsors and his likeness through appearances on late-night talk shows, in movies and other forms of media. Danny’s promotional prowess was good and NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Jeff Gordon says he emulated him throughout his racing career. Danny was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2012 and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame in 2022. He remains active as a TV personality, producer, and entrepreneur, staying involved in many forms of racing and business. Danny is here to share his latest venture, Racers Roundtable with Danny Sullivan and Tony Stewart.

Ginger is an amateur racer who earned an NHRA Dragster Pilot’s license in 2021, and in 2020, earned an ECTA land speed record in a 2020 Yenko Camero street car in the Modern Street/Blown 8-Cylinder category with a 199.557 mph pass on the 1.25 mile course, which made her the second-fastest woman in the history of the class and the third fastest in the history of the national ECTA event.

Whit Montross is responsible for running the day-to-day operations for Hagerty Marketplace. He and his team review thousands of submissions each year to ensure they are bringing the best ones to market with fair reserves. They work with sellers to make sure their listings are accurate and highlight their vehicles properly. Whit has been with Hagerty for over 10 years, much of that time was in their service center underwriting insurance and talking with Hagerty members. At Hagerty their goal is to ensure and preserve Save Driving and Fuel Car Culture for future generations. Whit built his first race car in the back of Hagerty’s Colorado office. He currently races a 1967 BMW 1600 with Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing. Randy Leffingwell is an author, writer, and photographer who has spent over five decades in the automotive sector. He worked for the Kansas City Star and then in Chicago with the Sun-Times. His passion for automobiles led him to AutoWeek magazine and the L.A. Times. He’s written many articles for Pete Stout’s 000 magazine due to his vast knowledge of the Porsche marque and Randy has authored 65 books. Photography is a significant part of his life to this day. Today he is here to share his book Against All the Others: Porsche’s Racing History, Volume 1-1968, from David Bull Publishers. The book meticulously details technical developments, the nuances of each racing venue, and offers race-by-race commentary. At 432 pages it is an intensive and keen insight into the personalities and their approaches taken in the cockpit for Porsche.

Following the death of Bobby Haas, she worked to keep this treasure trove of motorcycle history together and is proud to be reopening the Haas Moto Museum in a new, larger location in North Dallas. Michael Alan Ross is a photographer who is best known for his automotive work. Years ago. he merged his two passions, cars and photography and since then he’s shot everything from exotics to barn finds from rock stars to junk yard dogs. If you love cars no doubt you’ve seen his work in which he constantly creates inspiring images. Michael’s goal is to consistently create images that inspire the viewer, that make then pause, breathe, and take in the images. He provides us a way to see an object in ways we’ve never focused on. No doubt, if you are a true automotive enthusiast your library shelf has at least one of Burt’s books on it but more likely, like mine, it has many. Mercedes and Andy Lilienthal are a wife and husband team who competed with the Superlative Adventure Club in the 2024 Baltic Sea Circle driving the new Volkswagen ID Buzz. They drove the sixteen-day, 7,500 kilometer, 4,771 miles journey as the first team to compete in an EV that was outside of the EU and they were the only EV team this year. The event is the northernmost rally in the world covering nine countries around the Baltic Sea. Their journey included wild camping and daily rally challenges without the use of GPS using only paper maps. They raised money for the Jessi Combs Foundation as their charity of choice You’ll remember these two from show #2462 last January when they competed in the 2024 Alcan 5000 Rally driving the new INEOS Grenadier.

Kevin McCauley is a photographer and videographer based in Houston, Texas. His photography has been featured in over a dozen publications, and he’s shot for automakers, auction houses, retailers, and collectors. Kevin spent the early part of his career in advertising as a graphic designer. He picked up the camera to shoot portfolio images of design work, but almost immediately began pointing the lens towards his lifelong passion, automotive subjects. He has spent more than a decade capturing the machines that move us. His short-form documentary The Gray Fox: An Original 1967 Porsche 912 was chosen as the Video of the Year 2021 by Bring-a-Trailer and was nominated for the 2022 International Motor Film Awards. Kevin has now created his first book titled Waiting for the Sun to Come Down, published by Carrara Media. Collin Hungate started Sport Driving Motors in 2023. He rents Porsches for drivers to use at HPDE events and for recreational lapping programs. Collin, his father, and brother have enjoyed driving at race tracks for years, in all kinds of different Porsche models including base 911s to GT3s and everything in between. Today, Collin has a fleet of 5 Porsches to rent at his home track, Pacific Raceways, in the Pacific Northwest. He has his sights set on expanding to other tracks starting next year. Growing up in the Tacoma, Washington area, volunteering in the community and supporting local businesses are important and he plans to stay put here and focus on family, faith, and growing his business.

Neil Smith, like many kids, got his love of motorsport from his father. His passion for the sport was fueled by weekends spectating at English race tracks and watching the Formula 1 on the TV. But it was sports car racing that really caught his imagination, initially with Group C and later, after a move to the USA, with IMSA. Trips to the Le Mans 24 Hours added to the experience, and in the 2000s his hobby of writing a blog about racing turned into actual reporting on the American Le Mans Series and Grand Am for the predecessor of SportsCar365.com. After building a career in the tech industry, Neil returned to writing in 2018, beginning work on his debut book titled On The Prowl: The Definitive History of the Walkinshaw Jaguar Sports Car Team uncovering the fascinating stories, anecdotes, and intrigue from those who were there. His book is published by our friends at David Bull Publishing.

This premier experience takes place during Car Week, with the Prancing Ponies Mixer on Wednesday, Aug 14^th at Carmel Plaza and the car show on Thursday, August 15 on Ocean Avenue in Carmel by the Sea. 

Michael Dale was the President of Jaguar North America from 1990 until 2000. He was responsible for British Leyland’s and Jaguar North America’s racing activities, which involved joining forces with Group 44 to achieve numerous SCCA National Championships and bringing Jaguar back to its racing roots at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Mike will be part of a panel on this year’s Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance event discussing the racing and production history of Jaguar, the featured marque, on Sunday June 23 at the concours. The concours and discussion will take place at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia.

Torsten Gross is a maverick in every sense of the word. Not happy with the status quo, mixed with his entrepreneurial drive, he enjoys the challenge of the word “no.” As a C6 Quadriplegic since the age of 15, he has heard that word often, yet still finds his way to “yes.” This drive has led him to become the world's only Quadriplegic who is a Rescue Scuba Diver, completing 12 marathons in 12 months and into his latest adventure as a race car driver. In 2023, Torsten competed in the International GT, HSR and World Racing League races in his hand-controlled Porsche 981 Cayman. Sani Ronen is the Director of Product Marketing at Arbe, where they are driving a zero-road-fatality reality by enabling truly safe driver-assist systems while paving the way to full autonomous driving. Sani’s defined and executed hardware and software roadmaps in a comprehensive 3-5 year plan for Arbe. As the automotive industry moves towards hands free driving, the sensors in the sensor suite become more and more critical since they are responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Hot Rod Ron Carlsten is a long-time fixture in the traditional hot rod world who promoted some of the first nostalgia hot rod shows in Southern Arizona. His Checkered Strip Productions in Phoenix, Arizona, and formerly in Tucson, Arizona, are well known. He is a custom car builder and hot rod culture broker who has been building cars since 1984 and has built multiple vehicles that have been featured in numerous magazines, ranging from Volkswagen to Hot Rods. Ron’s an experienced car appraiser who has worked for numerous commercial and community stations, managed bands, worked as a booking agent, content creator and as a moderator for online communities. He has curated art shows at major galleries featuring hot rod art and hosted major annual car shows. 

Ed Fallon has been immersed in the world of collector cars for over four decades and lives on his own private island off the state of Minnesota. Karen McClaflin is the Executive Director of the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento, California. A California native she was the Executive Direcgro of the ALS Association and the California Automobile  Museum from 2006 – 2015 before focusing on Development at Broadway Sacramento before returning for a second term. I had the pleasure of visiting the California Automobile  Museum in 2018 when I filmed an episode of Cars Yeah TV that you can enjoy on the Cars Yeah YouTube channel.

Ethan Gibson is the Director of the North American Communications Team at RM Sotheby’s. He’s been a lifelong automotive enthusiast with a unique career path. At 22 he became a Federal Agent with the Department of Homeland Security. After becoming a field agent, Ethan began assisting the agency in public relations at the local government level, progressing through state and eventually onto the national and international stages. After 13 years of service Ethan transitioned to his passion, the automotive industry, where he found RM Sotheby’s. In his role he oversees their social media, earned media, and public relations efforts and now for their new venues, Moda events including the inaugural ModaMiami event and RM auctions.

Rich Kenney is the Co-Founder of AeroED Group whose motto is Flight: Inspiration for Learning”. He has been the FlyBy Chair for the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance since 2013 when he got a ride over the event in a Stearman biplane, previously owned by Steve McQueen. Rich has enjoyed being a member of the Organizing Committee ever since. He was selected to the Board of Directors and is now the VP of the World Acrobatic Society and in 2023 received their prestigious “Golden Achievement Award.” 

Yuliia Lobodiuchenko is a transportation illustrator, an artist, and designer with experience in exterior automotive design, car design history, and cultural research. She has long held a fascination for the automotive industry and discovered that passion when, at 16, she joined the Faculty Industrial Design at the Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Arts and Design in Ukraine. In 2017 Yullia earned a scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in Car Design at the SPD Scuola Politecnica de Design in Milan, Italy. During her studies she collaborated with manufacturers including Lamborghini, Audi, and Volkswagen. After graduating she joined the exterior design team at JAC Italy Design Center. Today her focus is on illustration and research of various car production models. Yullia produced a 10-hour video course on the history of automotive design for Projector Institute, a Ukrainian educational institution. Today she runs a YouTube channel about the history of cars titled Transportii Istorii which translates to Transportation Stories.

Mark Beatty is Brand/Marketing Director for Red Line Synthetic Oil. His career includes time at V. Gaines in Denver Colorado as their Business Development Director for V’s family of racing companies including: Winberg Crankshafts, GRP Connection Rods, Gibtec Pistons, Fineline Graphics, and Black Diamond Media Productions. Mark has been a race car guy since high school when I worked at Bandimere Performance. They are the same Bandimere as the speedway and they used to own 3 speed shops in Denver as well. He was a counter guy at their big store on Alameda. Raced my first car which was a 63 1/2 Falcon Sprint, then shared a super comp dragster, and worked with Joe Shalkowski on his NHRA B-ED we ran in Comp. After that Mark announced at Bandimere Speedway for almost 9 years which lead to announcing opportunities at KRP and a few other tracks.

Alan Taylor is the Awards Co-Chair, designer, and maker of this year’s La Jolla Concours d’Elegance awards. He’s retired from a 55 plus year career and business he built, the Alan Taylor Company. It was a full serviced automotive restoration business specializing in European and American models from the prewar era through the 1960s. Alan and his team were known for their work on Alfas, Aston Martins, Avions Voisin, Bugatti, Delage, Delahaye, plus many other great marques. Their reputation for creating award winning automotive masterpieces with a focus on details and perfection is known worldwide. You’ve seen his work on concours lawns from Pebble Beach to Amelia Island. His motto: The impossible we do immediately. Miracles take a little longer. Alan is also a member of The Fédération International des Véhicules Anciens known as FIVA.

Bob Kerner is the Co-Chairman of the La Jolla Concours d’ Elegance, where he leads the Car Selection Committee. With a career in the insurance industry as a Sales Executive for Marsh & McLennan Agency, he brings over 25 years of expertise in insurance risk management for ultra-high net worth families. His work encompasses family offices, luxury homes, estates, museum-quality fine art, collectibles, umbrella liability, yachts, private aircraft, life insurance, daily driver autos, and collector automobiles. Bob's lifelong passion for cars started in childhood, leading to his involvement with the La Jolla Concours d’ Elegance in 2013. He is a past Docent at the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance and Las Vegas Concours, and an active member of numerous automobile clubs, regularly attending automotive events nationwide.

Nigel Matthews is the Chief Judge and on the Selection Committee for the annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance. Originally from Oxfordshire, England, he has lived in Vancouver, British Columbia for 50 years where he worked as a red seal designated licensed automotive technician and member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, repairing, and restoring Rolls-Royce and Ferrari automobiles. The past 29 years Nigel has been in the classic and exotic car insurance industry and currently serves as Global Brand Ambassador for Hagerty. Since 2005 Nigel has judged most of the major concours events around the globe and has written classic car columns in the Canadian press and numerous automotive magazines. In 2015 Nigel was one of the founding members of ICJAG (International Chief Judge Advisory Group) and took over from Ed Gilbertson, as the Chairman in 2020. 

Michael Dorvillier is the Co-Chairman of the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance, a role he’s had for over a decade. This spectacular event takes place in La Jolla, California, just north of San Diego, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Michael is a Founding Partner of Symbio Financial Partners and a Registered Principal and Financial Advisor with LPL Financial. He has over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry. Michael is a passionate antique car collector who was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance takes place on April 19, 20, and 21 in beautiful La Jolla California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Jeremy Jackson-Sytner is the Founder and organizer of the Grand Tour, a luxury car tours experience with events and adventures around the world designed for owners of sports and GT cars. Known as Mr. Concours, Jeremy works at the top of the international historic automobile world. He is the creator of the world’s leading concours events, organizer of luxury car tours, and a consultant to a series of major car events around the globe. He is a consultant creating feasibility studies for new concours events including Hokkaido, Japan and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Jeremy has judged at numerous concours in India, Malta, Holland, the UK and numerous other events. He is a concours curator sourcing historic cars from around the world and is the Concours Curator for ModaMiami, a new event that include an RM Sotheby’s auction.

Scott Bannister is the founder and Managing Director of Regularity, an event company with the goal of opening the world of touring challenges to a wider audience of motorsport enthusiasts. Regularity is the evolution of an idea that participating in a classic motorsport challenge doesn’t need to be about large groups, stuffy rules, hard competition, or who posts the quickest time. It can be about the adventure, about discovering new countries and experiencing jaw-dropping scenery with a small group of likeminded enthusiasts. 

Michael May is a performer and filmmaker, and is best known for hosting, creating, and executive producing the docuseries AUTO/BIOGRAPHY and its spinoff AUTO/BIOGRAPHY: COLD CASES for Motor Trend TV. He previously ran the media company Fun Size Horror where he produced hundreds of hours of digital content, feature films, and tv shows. Michael recently started his own production company, Convergent Content, where he's been actively developing content for TV, film, and podcasts. Currently he's directing a feature film that will come out later this year, and hosts the automotive themed podcast, "Fuel for the Future" for America's Automotive Trust which you can find on every podcast platform. 

Tess Scaman is a Client Account Manager at RM Sotheby’s where, since joining in June of 2021, she has already had the opportunity to experience a multitude of auctions from their earliest beginnings to the hammer for the final lot. At RM Tess helps guide clients along the path of acquiring their dream cars. Her work at RM allows her to feed the traveling bug that’s had its clamps in her since a young age, she always stays active and looks forward to the opportunity to take a break and go off somewhere new, on her own.

Scott George is the Executive Vice President of CH Motorcars and Curator of Collections for Revs Institute in Naples, Florida. Widely regarded as one of the top automotive museums in the world, Revs Institute is dedicated to the study of the automobile and offers visitors an exceptional opportunity to view over 100 of the most influential automobiles of our time. Scott takes overall care of the automobiles, managing the in-house restoration workshop, and ensuring the vehicles participate at international events. Daniel Green is a racer who four years ago sold everything he owned so that he can travel the country. Thatcher Keast is the Consignment Department Manager and Auction Coordinator at RM Sotheby’s where he oversees consignments and the logistics of making an auction come to life. Today Thatcher shares a new event from RM Sotheby's titled ModaMiamia that takes place February 29 through March 2 in Coral Gables, Florida at the historic Biltmore Hotel. He's share a few of the collectible cars up for auction.

Sam Smith is a writer and a former executive editor of Road & Track magazine. He’s been an automotive journalist for 20 years, he has contributed to a variety of publications, including The New York Times, Esquire, and Car and Driver. As TV and video presenter Sam’s talents have been tapped by clients as diverse as NBC Sports and classic-car insurance provider Hagerty. His career highlights include track-testing Fernando Alonso’s Formula 1 McLaren, flying to Japan for a deep dive into that land’s offbeat Dodge-van “Dajiban” culture, and driving to the Arctic Circle in a Jeep with no doors because it sounded like fun. Along with his co-hosts, motorsport legends Ross Bentley and Jeff Braun, Sam has just launched a podcast called It’s Not the Car.

Lee Raskin is an author and co-author of acclaimed motorsports biographies and has been involved in motorsports for over four decades. He is best known as an early Porsche historian and authority on James Dean’s brief but spectacular racing career driving Porsches. He often consults with authors, video producers, documentaries, webcasts, podcasts, interviews, and television shows regarding James Dean’s motorsports activities, and the mysterious disappearance of his “Little Bastard” Porsche 550 Spyder following his crash and death in 1955. Lee’s contributed to numerous magazines including Porsche 356 Registry, Panorama, 000 Magazine, Excellence and many others.

Brendan Garst is a Colorado car enthusiast, old-car apologist, and editor-in-chief of SHIFT Colorado magazine, a digital publication built as a volunteer effort by himself and other like-minded enthusiasts from the Colorado Cars and Coffee organization. The project started in 2022, and is now in its seventh quarterly issue, and he enjoys co-leading one of the best groups of amateur car journalists around. He’s a Brendan is a rabid Audi enthusiast, especially for their older five-cylinder cars. Brendan spends his time working on the magazine, cars, and his accounting skills at his day job. His favorite car event is the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Brought to you by Gran Turismo, which he volunteers as pit crew for his friends’ teams each year.

Jason Wenig is the Founder and Owner of The Creative Workshop, one of the top restorers of classic cars and builders of coach-built specials. His business is known for and is regularly entrusted with rare, exotic, and prototype vehicles. Jason is also the Executive Director of the Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d’Elegance that takes place on February 4 at the prestigious JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, Miami, Florida. This event features their Miami Speed & Style Rally, and a world class concours d’elegance. The cars are the stars but the entrants, judges, guests, and media share the spotlight in a chic garden center setting that includes fashion, style, cuisine, and camaraderie.

Mercedes and Andy Lilienthal are a wife and husband team who are competing in the 2024 Alcan 5000 Rally driving the new INEOS Grenadier. They will tackle a ten-day, 5,000 miles journey of blisteringly cold temps, navigating their way through treacherous conditions, abundantly large wildlife, and fighting off sleep deprivation. Their INEOS Grenadier is from INEOS Automotive, a new automaker. This 4x4 workhorse is a powerhouse of new, innovation. It’s a recently developed vehicle designed to fulfill a marketplace gap after Jaguar Land Rover (now JLR) stopped production on its famed boxy Defender in 2016 and went after the luxury and technology segment.

Colin Garrett is a professional race car driver from South Boston, Virginia, and at just 23 he defies the conventional path to motorsports success. Starting at 15, Colin rapidly ascended, becoming a Track Champion at 17. His diverse racing career spans NASCAR's Xfinity and Truck Series, SRO TC America, and Pirelli GT4 America. Beyond accolades, Garrett is a trailblazer for social impact. Notably, he pioneered crowdfunded Xfinity Series cars for military nonprofits, financed stem cell treatments for a veteran, and unveiled the first Braille paint scheme with a blind-owned sponsor. In 2023, he secured the SRO TC America TCX class championship, further solidifying his disruptive legacy in motorsports. Most recently, Colin was named the 12th top driver globally for BMW. 

Lauren Goodman is the Supervising Producer of Media and Exhibitions at Revs Institute in Naples, Florida. Widely regarded as one of the top automotive museums in the world, Revs Institute is dedicated to the study of the automobile and offers visitors an exceptional opportunity to view over 100 of the most influential automobiles of our time. After earning her MFA in screenwriting from Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts, Lauren spent the next six years in Hollywood in creative development for film and television, as well as in production for TV and new media advertising. A chance visit to Revs Institute led to volunteering at the museum and researching the history of women in racing. 

Annette Bauer is a seasoned photographer and marketing professional with a passion deeply rooted in the automotive and motorsports industry. With well over a decade of experience covering prestigious events such as: California’s Biggest Truck event, Truck Mania, the California Bay Area’s favorite grudge racer Team Boddie No Excuses, and Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws No Prep Kings, Annette has honed her craft. She has spent over 20 years in marketing, is an active member of SEMA, SBN SEMA, and PRI. 

Alan O’Neill is the Founder and Owner of SEU Motorsports where their goal is to develop mechanics and engineers and not drivers. His seven-step process addresses the needs of the motorsport sector through bespoke qualifications, a 3D virtual learning environment, embracing inclusion, focusing on race series, specialty tools, race bay cabinet and race trailers. Alan as been a high-performance driving instructor and coach since 2012 and driven in numerous race series and rallies. He grew up in around motorsports, has a deep passion for engineering, and works every day as SEU Motorsports to fill the much-needed pool of mechanics and engineers in the racing community.

Anita Lewis is a fine artist whose art portrays the speed and motion of racecars on the track. She received her education in the arts studying abstract art, rendering illustrations, drafting, and interior design. In the early 80s she migrated to Germany, integrating into the European lifestyle and began rendering BMW car parts and painting racecars for German friends. She was also a narrow selection of artists rendering for Porsche in Zuffenhausen. Today you’ll find her paintings at a wide variety of automotive events including Barrett Jackson, Velocity International and at the Signature Galleries in Las Vegas.

Chris Story is a motorsports photographer who focuses on drag racing. He was born in Durango, Colorado and his family moved a lot when Chris was a kid. He joined the Army at 17 to pursue a career in IT and later worked on cars. Eventually Chris felt like there was more in life that he wanted to do and began chasing his passion in photography, something he's done for over 10 years. For the past 3 years it has been his profession. He shoots drag racing and more specifically Drag and Drive events. Chris’s enjoyment comes from covering and documenting history, capturing moments for the drivers and people so that their experiences can be captured for a lifetime.

Barry Alt is a 25-year veteran in the digital marketing space and the proud owner of Motorhead Digital. His mission is centered around elevating auto restoration, performance, and race shops through the implementation of his innovative Site and Marketing Maximizer™ programs that are designed to supercharge his client's websites, social media, and entire online presence to attract more lucrative leads. A graduate of auto services and auto body trade school, Barry's industry expertise earned him a spot on the SEMA ARMO Select Committee. Russ Mitchell is a Staff Writer at the Los Angeles Times. He covers the epic transition to electric vehicles and energy storage for the Los Angeles Times, blending technology, policy, and consumerism, with a particular focus on California. He’s worked on staff at publications including Business Week, Wired, and Condé Nast Portfolio. Russ is a graduate of the University of Illinois, he also studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Vannevar Bush fellow.

Richard Jenkins has been involved in motor racing research for over 20 years. The first outlet for his work was the website oldracingcars.com, where his “Where Are They Now? Section presents several thousand profiles of racing drivers. His first book, Richie Ginther: Motor Racing’s Free Thinker, was published to universal praise in 2020. This book won the Royal Automobile Club Motoring Book of the Year Award. His second biography, Mike Spence: Out of the Shadows, he turned his attention to the history of the team rather than the man. His newest book is a comprehensive history of the Tyrrell team titled Tyrrell: The Story of the Tyrrell Racing Organisation. The foreword is by Sir Jackie Stewart who drove for Tyrrell for many years, and it is published by EVRO.

Rita Campana is the owner at Campana Modena, one of the oldest body shops in the province of Modena, Italy. Founded in 1947 by her grandfather, handed down to her father their CEO, and now in Rita's hands, Campana has over 10,000 square meters in a variety of buildings where they restore, repair, and create modern, classic, and vintage racing cars. They are an authorized Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, and Maserati service center and the level of handmade services are the best in the world. You can see some of their most recent builds in the new Movie Ferrari featuring cars they built from scratch for the film.

David Wachs is the CEO of Handwrytten where they have brought back the lost art of letter writing through scalable, robot-based solutions that write your personal notes in pen. Developed as a platform, Handwrytten provides you a way to send notes from your CRM system including Salesforce, the web site, apps, or through custom integration. David is a frequent speaker on marketing technology and has presented for the Direct Marketing Association, South by Southwest, Advertising Research Foundation, and the national Restaurant Association. Both Handwrytten and Cellit  were on Inc. Magazine’s Inc 500 list of fastest growing companies. David also writes for Inc. Magazine with his column “Stepping Away from the Day to Day.”

Maria Bull is the owner and trustee of the award-winning international motorsports publisher David Bull Publishing, and she is the sister of David Bull, founder of the company. David founded the company with the goal of producing the highest quality motorsports books—well written, beautifully designed, and produced to the highest standards. The company most recently released the Publisher’s Edition of Luca Dal Monte’s book “Enzo Ferrari: Power, Politics and the Making of an Automotive Empire,” whom I recently had on Cars Yeah.

This past year we lost 8 of the Inspiring Automotive Enthusiasts™ that appeared on Cars Yeah. All made their great impact on the automotive world and will be missed by family, friends, and anyone who had the honor of knowing them. Their voices will forever be recorded to enjoy here on Cars Yeah.

John Buck is the owner and producer of Rod Shows, which puts on the West Coast’s premier indoor hot rod and custom car shows, including the Grand National Roadster Show, the Sacramento Autorama and the Grand National Truck Show. Each year, the country’s top designers, builders and fabricators bring their newest and freshest hot rods, customs, motorcycles, and classics to show off to delighted guests and fellow car lovers. The Grand National Roadster Show, once known as the Oakland Roadster Show, will celebrate its 74th year this coming February 2^nd through the 4th, and is the longest running indoor car show in the world. You’ll see over 500 vehicles compete for a variety of awards, including the illustrious America’s Most Beautiful Roadster and Slonaker Awards. 

John Hames is a television producer and actor who created the series titled American Car Prospector, a show he started in 2013, that aired on Discovery Channel. His early career was in the financial sector as a stockbroker. He was also a land developer however his passion and enthusiasm for cars and acting took him down a new road. John and his team are building a new TV series that will be available mid 2024. The show will feature episodes exploring unique and exciting land, sea, and air transportation. They will air on an all new social media channel and on YouTube. Updates and private channel strategy will be coming in 2024. Stay tuned!

Today I spend Christmas morning with Jay Leno. Jay brings along Donald Osborne and we spend Christmas morning talking cars, and the upcoming New Year. Jay Leno and Donald Osborne need no introductions. Both are quintessential car guys with lifelong passions for classic cars. You’ll see them appearing together on Jay Leno’s Garage, Audrain’s Mansions and Motorcars, and at automotive events and concours across the country. 

Michael Cotsworth is the Founder and President of Car Connections, the President of Automotive Consulting Network, and the Executive Producer at ACP Productions. He has been an automotive enthusiast for over 50 years working as a publisher, writer, speaker, radio personality, driving instructor and an automotive consultant. He’s been active as an automotive collector, restorer, and vintage racer since 1977. Michael is the Founder and past President of Rocky Mountain Automotive Press, past President and Director of Ferrari Owners Club and Classic Sports Racing Group and previous host of the weekly internet radio talk show Automotively Speaking. He was the Contributing Editor of Modern Gladiator Magazine and was a licensed Colorado Independent Automobile Dealer. Michael earned the Tom Senter Award, Glen Snyder Award at the Monterey Historics and the Bill Morton Spirit of the Hill award as well.

Robert Nagle is one of the most in-demand stunt coordinators and drivers in Hollywood, having worked on nearly 90 film and television productions over the past 21 years. This includes the much anticipated Michael Mann releases, on December 25, Ferrari, staring Adam Driver. Roberts movies include: Ford vs Ferrari, Baby Driver, Captain Marvel, John Wick, Mission Impossible to name just a few. He’s worked with and trained top actors and directors, driven numerous vehicles from street cars to race cars, new and vintage and on commercials and TV shows. If you’ve seen automotive stunts, Robert was probably involved.

Imagineer Bob Gurr has always been a man on the move. And for nearly 40 years, he’s helped move many a happy Disney theme park guests aboard vehicles and ride conveyances of his own design. As he has often quipped, “If it moves on wheels at Disneyland, I probably designed it.” He developed more than 100 designs for Disneyland from Autopia to the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Bob’s authored books, raced cars, flown airplanes, and had a hand in a multitude of automotive designs including cars, trains, trams, monorail trains, the list goes on and on and on. In 1999, Bob was honored with the Themed Entertainment Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award (THEA). The Walt Disney Company honored him in 2004 as a Disney Legend, again honored in 2008 with a Disneyland Window on Main Street.

Bob Hall is an automotive industry consultant who specializes in issues of corporate, product, and design strategy with major manufacturers. Bob’s worked as a Journalist as an Editor for automotive magazines from Wheels, Automotive News, for Crain Communications, Petersen Publishing, Motor Trend, Autoweek, and others. He was Assistant to the Manager in the Design Division at Mazda Motor Company responsible for vehicle styling, concept, engine, powertrain and other systems in new vehicles. Many call Bob the "Father of the Miata". 

Luca Dal Monte is a Senior Public Relations executive for luxury brands in the automotive sector turned best-selling and award-winning author with top-level experience in Communication for Ferrari and Maserati. A key member and the Communication strategist of the team that brought Maserati back to the United States and later re-launching it worldwide in what was one of the most dramatic company turnarounds in recent automotive history. He is the author of thirteen non-fiction and three fiction books. Today Luca shares his book Enzo Ferrari: Power, Politics, and the making of an automotive empire, published by David Bull Publishing.

Rodney Kemerer is a lifelong, automotive enthusiast. Dr. Mark Davis is a retired Chiropractic Physician and Real Estate Developer who lives in South Carolina. His love for Corvettes began in 1960 when he was only 5 after spotted his first Corvette. Frank Loughridge has been a hot rod and custom car enthusiast since he was a small boy. His interest was cemented when his father took him to a Darryl Starbird Rod and Custom show in the 1980s. Upon Meeting his friend Chris the two began to revive the South Gate Gaters, a club in which Chris’ father and cousin had been involved in during the 1940s. Chris still has the “Pyle Special” which was one of the original Hot rods of the club. Today, Frank and the Gaters SCTA are dedicated to building and growing the hot rod spirit by producing period hot rods and hosting events including the “Bias Ply Drags” December 9, at the newly minted Street Legal Dragway in Perris Ca.

Antonio Melegari is the Media Production Manager at Audrain Automobile Museum & Collections. In 2018 he started volunteering at the Audrain Automobile Museum and quickly became an intern and was hired full time in 2020. His first task was to start the Audrain Museum Network YouTube channel. He now runs the film department that creates 2 to 3 long form videos a week that get posted on the network inspiring 45,000 subscribers. Antonio was born in Brescia, Italy and moved to the US with his family at a young age. 

Peter Zaidan is a Scottsdale, Arizona based luxury Realtor who has blended his lifelong passion for automobiles with his Real Estate business. Dean Case progressed from race fan as a kid, to automotive engineer as an adult, before devoting the past 20 years of his professional career to automotive communications with an emphasis on motorsports and engineering PR.  He has been a staff engineer with Mazda, Ford, and Nissan. After going freelance Dean has had contracts with SAE International, Mazda Motorsports, Aerovironment, Motivo, Grassroots Motorsports, Ferrari North America, and SRO Motorsports.  On the electric vehicle front, he was a part of the Ford EV team of the 1990’s, and had a Nissan Altra EV as his company car from 1998-2006. He has also been a longtime volunteer with SAE and has given automotive career talks at over 50 universities. 

Ian Flux, better known as Fluxie, is one of the most charismatic drivers to have taken to the race track and his story is one of perseverance against the odds. His new book titled For Flux Sake is his story and also a story of a lot of beer. ‘Fluxie’ as his pals called him, was one of the fastest drivers at the Formula 3 level and he won so many races at the national level and his speed never diminished despite a wild lifestyle. The book is a colorful ride from the travails of an up-and-coming racing driver through the story of a man desperately trying to spin the plates to keep a professional career going. 

Geoff Weiner is a collector of Lalique mascots that were created by the great French glass designer and artisan René Lalique. During the inter-war period from 1925 until 1931 the Lalique factory catalogued 28 various depictions of animals, fish, birds, insects, and his female figures. Geoff has been interested in collecting since he was a boy and started with toy soldiers and then moving into militaria and other antiques and collectibles. He is the author of Unique Lalique Mascots Volumes 1 and 2 and has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows and is an adviser on the values of automobilia. He has the privilege of being the Honorable General Secretary of The Lalique Mascot Collector’s Club and he owns the Lalique Gallery located in The White Lion Garage in Brighton, Sussex, England.

Carlos Segura is the Founder of the Chicago based design firm Segura Inc. and the T26 Digital Type Foundry. He came to the United States from Cuba at the age of nine. Carlos worked  for  the big ad agencies including BBDO, Marsteller, Foote Cone & Belding, Young & Rubicam, Ketchum and DDB Needham. His work has earned him numerous awards from organizations around the world. Carlos ventured in to new territory when he launched Cartype.com – a creative archive of the automotive industry. His new book is titled The ABCs of the Automotive Industry and it introduces readers young and old to some of history’s most iconic and sometimes forgotten automobiles from Azzurra to Zagato.

Glenn Stevens is the Executive Director of MICHauto and the Vice President of Automotive and Mobility Initiatives in the Detroit Regional Chamber. David Culshaw is an author who has been an A.O.C. member for over 67 years having joined back in 1955. He is a lifelong fan of the Alvis marque which led to his writing the book titled,  Alvis Society – A Century of Drivers which chronicles every model and lists every chassis number ever produced along with owners. The Alvis car has always appealed to a buyer who wants to make his mark in the world and the list of owners ranges from politicians to stage and screen actors, sports figures, Kings, and even a serial killer. This book has been published by Veloce Press 100 years after the very first Alvis car emerged from the production line in Coventry.

Mike Pennington is the Global Director of Training and Consumer Relations for Meguiar’s, the world’ leading surface care company. He oversees the company’s technical training programs and Customer Care Center. He also works closely with their R&D department to help study and develop new car care products. He heads training for outside sales staff and conducts a wide variety of hands-on classes to teach and train users on the entire Meguiar’s surface care brand.
