Yvan Lacroix is from Granby Quebec, Canada. He’s a serial entrepreneur, having run a Volvo restoration shop and Répare-Brise, a franchised full service automotive reconditioning company his wife who manages that business. He has a lifelong passion for racing and he volunteers at his local dirt track and he spent years as a tech inspector for a variety of race tracks. Currently Yvan is the Regional Manager for Optimum Polymer Technologies. Their Opti-Coat Pro+ is a ceramic paint protection package that delivers maximum gloss plus increase anti water spotting and hydrophobic properties for long term protection. Opti-Coat’s President David Ghodoussi and Dann Williams, their Regional Manager in the Western United States have both been guests on Cars Yeah.

Dennis Mattish is a life-long San Jose native who cut his teeth at the San Jose racetracks, spending Friday nights at Alviso Speedway, and Saturday nights at San Jose Speedway. For over 40 years Dennis has followed motorsports around the US and in England, with his camera and pen. He’s been published locally and nationally in numerous publications. Dennis is a consistent recipient of the John Ryan Journalism award, he’s the official World of Outlaw photographer and has served as Vice President of Photography for the Motor Sports Press Association for three years. In 2009 Dennis published his first book, History of San Jose Auto Racing 1903-2007. His second book, History of Watsonville and Salinas Auto Racing– was published in 2012. His third book, History of San Jose Racing Part 2, was published in 2016.

Chris Brewer is the Director of Public Relations for the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance that takes place every March in Amelia Island Florida. Chris is an automotive writer with a doctorate in theology. He has an extensive background in working with non-profit organizations and his passion for vintage sports and GT cars knows no bounds. He co-runs the monthly Automotive Addicts Cars and Coffee cruise-in with fellow Drive columnist Malcolm Hogan. Dane Pitarresi owns and operates SkidCar Systems in Las Vegas, Nevada. Valentino Balboni was born in Casumaro, Italy, less than 7 miles from Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birthplace. He is the former chief test driver of Automobili Lamborghini SpA having served the company for over 40 years. Regarded as one of best Lamborghini experts in the world, Valentino has driven about 80% of all Lamborghinis ever built. He began his career at Lamborghini as a teenager being hired by Ferruccio Lamborghini himself. In 2009, to honor his contribution to the company a special edition run of 250 Gallardo LP550-2 was named “Valentino Balboni”. Today his life is still around cars and his latest venture is a new dimension in sound, a state of the art limited edition ultralight titanium exhaust for the Lamborghini Aventador SV.

Christoph Maeder is a designer from Hannover, Germany whose passion for automobiles runs deep. He studied mechanical and fotografical engineering in school and switched to visual communications where he found his passion. Christoph worked for Zakspeed, a team running a Viper that won the 24 Hours of Nüburgring and Lechner Racing who ran Porsches and then with the Jetalliance who ran an Aston Martin DBR9. From that the book DBR9 The Definitive History came about where he did the design, layout, 3D modeling and the research and writing. Other noted projects include the Carrera 2.7 Book and a complete corporate design program for Jet Alliance. His most recent project is the new Carrera RS Book by authors Georg Konradsheim and Thoms Gruber and published by TAG Motorbooks. It’s an updated version of the iconic Carrera RS book published years ago.

Michelle and her friend Andrea Shaffer are embarking on a journey where they will modify a 2004 Jeep Rubicon and undertake an off-road adventure this fall. They are Team Sugar High and will be competing in the Rebelle Rally in the deserts of Nevada and California. The Rebelle Rally is a 1,200 mile, 7 day adventure and it’s the first all woman’s off-road rally in the United States. Michelle’s husband Kevin has been a guest here on Cars Yeah in the past.

Randy Beikmann is an engineer who has spent decades using one passion, physics, to work on another, cars. His career including working in noise and vibration at the General Motors Milford Proving Grounds for over 30 years where he focused on the noise of engines, transmissions, and electric motors. He also loves to teach, helping to design and teach courses for other engineers. In 2015, Bentley Publishers published his first book, Physics for Gearheads. It combines both of his passions, explaining the physics that really makes cars tick. It is a book he wishes he’d had when he was a teenager. Randy received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and currently holds four patents.

Jacques Dallaire is the President at Performance Prime. Dr. Dallaire splits his time between delivering sports-team and corporate/occupational group performance programs and providing individual, one-on-one programs with high-performance competitors from many walks of life. He is a founding member of the International Council of Motorsport Sciences, a board member of the Stand 21 “Racing Goes Safer” Foundation, and in 2007 was inducted into the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame – in recognition of his innovative, state-of-the-art training strategies and the impact he has had on the sport.

Alex Martin-Banzer was barely a year out of the womb before she attended the Mille Miglia in Italy. Her father is the publisher of Sports Car Market Magazine and host on TV’s What’s My Car Worth. Alex’s life around cars has been non-stop. She learned to shift at 10 years old in a VW Thing and from there double clutching in a Mini Cooper. The classic car hobby has taken her all over the world and provided opportunities to drive on tours, judge at concours events, orchestrate press launches for new sports cars and more. Currently Alex works at Daimler Trucks North American in Portland, Oregon where she’s expanding her knowledge in the mechanical world of automobiles with the iconic Mercedes brand.

Stephen Serio owns and operates Aston Martin of New England, Lotus Motorsports, and the Bond Group. He started his car business in November of 1987. At that time he was a full-time professional photographer and needed a way to supplement his passion for cars. He ran his own advertising photo studio and also worked in the broadcast television business, however cars remained his passion. In 1990 he pivoted to a full time automotive business specializing in exporting Aston Martins to the UK. He acquired a Lotus franchise in 1991 and an Aston Martin franchise in 1996. Stephen has written for Sports Car Market magazine for over 20 years, and he’s helped Hagerty Insurance and SCM with their price guides. Today he buys and sells all marques of classics from Astons to Ferrari, Porsches and more.
