Mandy Turner is the host of the CarAdvisor Podcast in Australia. There she talks about new cars to the market and provides reviews and opinions on their performance, quality, and drive. She is a seasoned automotive advice correspondent, an avid automotive enthusiast, and a radio announcer. She has lived most of her life in Shepparton, Victoria and her parents owned a motorcycle shop when she was growing up. At 13 she purchased her first car, a Morris Minor that she paid $50 for and later sold for $100. Mandy works in radio as a news writer and an on air talent and recently won a contest as the Car Advice’s Correspondent where she gets to test drive a new car every week and report her experience and opinions. Mandy is also a talented musician and plays the trumpet and guitar.

Dan Panoz is the Owner at Panoz Engineering Services in Hoschton, Georgia. The company was founded in 1989 with the goal of creating a small volume manufacturer with the manta – Reliability Value Performance. The result was the Panoz Roadster, a class performer, 2-seat Ford powered sports car. In 1996 the second generation Roadster was created and in 2000 the third vehicle, the Panoz Esperante was born. The Esperante is both a sports car and a GTS spec racer. And in 2006 they won their class in the 12 hours of Sebring and the 24 hours of Le Mans. Panoz Engineering continues to offer special project services to outside companies while building Panoz road and race cars built to order for customers today.

Garrett Kletjian is the owner of Forty7 Motorsports in Mills Ville New Jersey. He and his team, in their 17,500 square foot facility, provide full service trackside race support, fabrication, and a storage facility at the famed New Jersey Motorsports Park. Forty7’s capabilities are limitless as they provide an in-house dyno service, wiring and tuning specialists, HAAS CNC capabilities and a full metal fabrication shop. In 2017 they will be returning to the IMSA Porsche Cup series in the Platinum class with their customer, Tullman Walker Racing running two, new, 991.2 race cars. Garrett first raced 25 years ago and has run in SCCA, Trans-AM, and IMSA continuously since then.

Blake Fuller is the Founder of GoPuck where they design and produce portable power. Go Puck is the leader in wearable power, the ultimate personal power solution for the active lifestyle. Prior to Go Puck Blake founded Braille Battery creating a lightweight batter that became the go-to solution for racers. Braille would go on to be recognized as inventing the Automotive Lithium starting batter and they developed the IndyCar Spec Battery. Rick Love is the Executive Vice President at Vintage Air in San Antonio, Texas. Known as the “World’s fastest air conditioning company” their goal is to provide owners of street rods, sport trucks, and performance cars with the finest air conditioning components available. Rick has been involved in the hot rod industry since the late 70s when he built his first hot rod, a 1940 Chevy Coupe. Early on he became a dealer for Vintage Air as a small business owner wiring and installing a/c systems. He’s been with Vintage Air since 1998. Today he drives a 1939 Ford Deluxe coupe, a car he built in 1984 and he has driven that car over 180,000 miles. He also owns a Pro Touring ’72 Camaro RS and a ’32 Ford 5-window coupe.

Eddie Harris is a Pacific Northwest Artist whose art literally saved him as a child. Born in to severe poverty, art was a way to distract his mind and hide his constant hunger as he and his siblings suffered from malnutrition. At 10 years old he weighed only 37 pounds. At 15 Eddie won an art scholarship to the Lubbock Municipal Garden and Art Center. Later he landed his first professional job at Hanna-Barbera and later he worked for Jay Orhberg Hollywood Cars. His life long love affair for art and anything that runs on fossil fuel has kept him going. These days he’s created art for some of the most famous names in the automotive industry.

Don Rose is an Automotive Specialist for RM Auctions/Sotheby's operating out of the Boston area. Shelby Hall is a Professional Driver, Trainer, Event Facilitator, and Spokesperson at the Rod Hall Racing team. Brian Linn is a weekend race warrior. He’s figured out how to pull this off while having a job, and a family, outside of racing and do it with wins at an intense national level. Brian raced a 1972 MG Midget in both HP and FP at the 2016 SCCA Runoffs. Running in two classes, with one car, is no easy feat. That culminated in earning the Sunoco Hard Charger Award in FP and then the SCCA President’s Cup award for the best performance at the Runoffs. His father was a racer and Brian’s raced since his teens in cars including a Sprite, Spec Miata, Lotus 7, Honda CRX, and his MG Midget. Brian is also a talented artist who created digital paintings of automobiles and race cars in his spare time.

Michael Paul Smith is a photographer who plays with model cars. His long career includes the advertising field where he was an art director, a textbook illustrator, a newspaper editorial artist, a museum display designer, and a model maker. Since retiring Michael has created Elgin Park, a miniature town where he builds scenes using vintage model cars and buildings of which he then photographs to create realistic images that go back in time. His 1/24 scale recreations are of everyday America from the mid-20th century ranging from the 1920s to the mid-1960s. The details are incredible and no Photoshop is used to create his timeless images.

E.C. Mueller is the Manager at the Portland International Raceway. The track hosted its first race in 1961 and by 1965 it was hosting regular drag races, motorcycle races, and road coarse racing. Over the years PIR has hosted Can Am races and numerous other venues including historic races, club events, and drag racing. The 1.967 mile, 12-turn course is challenging and fun and includes a long straightaway when the chicane is blocked. Before managing the track E.C. spent 10 years at Nissan Motor Company in Los Angeles and after college he worked with a professional sports car road racing team.

He has designed and completed numerous convertible conversions for the Ferrari 308 models plus adding spoilers and accent parts. He has refurbished classic cars and worked for Ferrari, Porsche, and BMW helping their motor sports teams. Keith Kaucher is an automotive designer and the owner of Kaucher Kustoms in Santa Monica, California. He has designed more than 60 custom cars ranging from a 1936 De Soto Airflow to a 2009 Camaro. He creates custom automobiles for clients around the world. He’s designed many wheels from aftermarket to OEM including the 2004 Mustang Bullit. The first of his designs he took to the Grand National Roadster show in 2006 won first place for Best Post War Hardtop Traditional Custom. Since then he’s earned numerous awards and trophies for his car designs. His latest car is the 1960 Buick named “Lectrafied” and it won the 2016 Grand National Roadster Show. When you ask Keith which of the cars he’s designed are his favorites you’ll hear him say, “My next design...”.

Joel Clark is an automotive artist who has had a career in the creative field since graduating from Central St. Martins in 1996. In the depths of the last recession he picked up a paintbrush and started creating. He works in a medium combining hand cut vinyl graphics in a collage form creating sculptures. His mix of bold, graphic colors result in a hand-crafted look creating a hyper-realism Pop Art style that transforms real objects, including vehicle parts, in to pieces that become surreal. His art invites the viewer to create their own narrative – such as “Where is the car and what is it doing there?”

Dick Ruzzin was an automobile designer and Director of Design for General Motors of Europe and Chevrolet, when he retired. He owns the only Corvette powered De Tomaso Mangusta built at the factory. During his career Dick worked on over 140 car design programs including the Opel Maxx, the inspiration for the Swatch Car. During his career he also created car design exhibits, automotive shows, design awards for NAIAS, furniture, Christmas parade floats, graphics for the Americas Cup and the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit. Since retiring he has written the book about the De Tomaso Mangusta, titled Bella Mangusta, penned magazine articles, and works in education as a mentor for design students.

Gautam Sen is acknowledges as India’s leading automotive journalist and writer. He has written several critically acclaimed books on automobiles and his latest is titled Marcello Gandini: Maestro of Design. In 1986 he founded India’s first and subsequently most successful automobile magazine Indian Auto. Tim Layzell is one of the world’s leading automotive artists. Peter Kumar is the Founder of Gullwing Motor Cars located New York. Born and raised in India, he worked as a young man in an auto parts store where his fascination with cars began. He opened his first car dealership in Miami, Florida and in 1988 he moved it to New York. At Gullwing Motor Cars Peter and his talented team buy and sell the finest collectible motorcars focusing mostly on European marques. Peter travels the world looking for the perfect vehicles for his clients and instead of consigning cars he owns his inventory. As for his company name, Peter was fascinated with the first Gullwing he spotted at a Mercedes dealership when he was young so bought a model that still sits on his desk today, and he purchased his first real Gullwing in 1993.

Rob Earle is the Managing Director of Gtechniq in the United Kingdom, a worldwide, ultra-durable line of car care products. John Rafert has had many jobs over his 70 plus years. A bartender, copy boy, teacher, owned businesses, an X-Ray tech, and worked in a level 1 trauma center, and a professor of radiologic sciences. He’s also been a car guy his whole life. Born and raised in Indianapolis, that’s pretty common. In his retirement, John’s taken up a new challenge. Learning how to create 3D automotive pieces, and automotive related products using Computer Graphics. He started with the demonstration principles of radiography and migrated in to cars and other objects he found interesting. Peter Vincent is an artist, author, and photographer who’s been working with the landscape at the Bonneville Salt Flats for over 20 years, and 40 years of Photographic Art, combining it with the Sub-Culture of Land Speed Racing and the Pop-Culture of the American Hot Rod. He’s a regular on the salt every August for “Speed Week” and never misses this gathering, ever. He’s published numerous books on the automobile and his work has been displayed in museums across the country including many permanent collections. His fourth book, The Bonneville Salt Flats, 20 Years of Photography was released in the fall of 2013. Peter’s fifth book, The Rolling Bones is now available. His images have been published in many magazine including The Rodder’s Journal, Hop Up, Hot Rod and American Rodder. His iconic 7 Coupes photograph, taken in 2002, appeared on the cover of Hop Up magazine. One of Peter’s photographs hangs in my home.

Jim Canova owns and operates Canova Bros. Auto Detailing located in Silicon Valley. He’s been caring for his customer’s vehicles since the early 90s. Several of his clients have shown their vehicles on the lawn at Pebble Beach. Jim’s also an industrial designer who has created several unique detailing products. His latest venture and design is the Bumbee Seat, a Kickstarter Design Project that funded at 141% of its goal and was 100% fulfilled. The BumBee seat is a custom sit-on detailing creeper designed to make your time cleaning a vehicle more comfortable. Jim also sits on the board of two local educational departments.

Anna-Louise Felstead is a fine artist who lives in London. She graduated from the Royal College of Art having received first class honors from Central Saint Martins. She is regarded at a reportage artist as her work is often created on location. While she paints a wide variety of subjects many of her pieces are transportation related including modern racing cars. In 2005 she was commissioned by the Ministry of Defense to paint their aircraft carriers, harrier jump jets, and helicopters. You’ve seen her in the pits at Laguna Seca during the historic races, on the lawn at Pebble Beach, at the Nürburgring, Goodwood, Monza, and Spa.

Brock Yates Jr. is the son of one of America’s best-known automotive journalists and growing up around cars and racing was his life. He played at Watkins Glen while his father raced, he apprenticed with race car builder Ron Nash and he’s a veteran of the first Cannonball Sea-to-Shining-Sea memorial Trophy Dash as a 14 year old in 1071, his destiny was cast. Brock’s run the one Lap of America, the La Carrera Classico, the Silver State Classic Challenge, and SCCA Showroom Stock, plus numerous other racing adventures. In 2009 he took over the Tire Rack One Lap of America and he teaches for Driving Dynamics, a company that specializes in instructing the pharmaceutical industry drivers to make them safer on the road.

Uwe Mansshardt is a professional stunt driver who lives in Hamberg, Germany. It all started when he was 14 while on a trip to Italy when he witnessed new Ferrari’s being tested and the hook was set. He worked as a stuntman in movies at the German Warner Bros. Movie World. That set the course toward training at Rick Seaman’s Hollywood Stunt Driver’s School in L.A. and from there he earned his FIA racing license at Zackspeed Driving Academy at the Nürburging. Today Uwe drives in commercials for Porsche, Mercedes, McLaren, and he’s even been a stunt driving double for Michael Schumacher and David Coulthard.
