John Campion’s remarkable path to success started on the backstage crews of rock-and-roll legends and quickly led to the boardroom of a billion-dollar company. Today, he is executive chairman of APR Energy in Jacksonville, Florida. Their specialty is in the rapid deployment of temporary power plants in parts of the world that have been affected by natural disasters or energy shortages. Having built numerous successful companies, listed on both the US Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange, John has expanded his focus on other goals which include his passion for championship-winning World Rally Cars. They drove a Mercedes Benz CL55 AMG on that trip averaging 98 miles per hour. Ed’s been in the automobile business for years having sold his exotic car rental company and he was the Sales Director at a Lamborghini, McLaren, Aston Martin, and Lotus dealer in Atlanta Georgia.

Dan Kruse is the owner of Dan Kruse Classics in San Antonio, Texas. Along with his daughter Tiffany and their team they conduct four collector car auctions per year: San Antonio, Austin, Midland, and Houston, Texas. In his past Dan was part of Kruse International that sold several billion dollars in collector cars. That business was sold to ITT, then eBay, and now Auctions America, a division of RM Auctions. Today, at Dan Kruse Classics he and his team have over 200 years of experience making dreams come true for sellers and buyer of collector vehicles. Dan is also the Presidents and CEO at Kruse Asset Management where he works in the oilfield business helping companies buy and sell equipment and vehicles in the oil industry.

Eric Danetz oversees U.S. print, digital sales, marketing, and live media at Fortune and Money at Time Inc.. Prior to his current role he was the Chief Revenue Officer at Defy Media where he was in charge of U.S. sales, marketing, and strategy. Fortune and Money often cover the enormous and important automotive markets in business and the collector car hobby. Eric is an enormous automotive and watch enthusiast who’s true passion is behind the wheel of a race car on the track with DeMan Motorsport.

Carl Reese is an American endurance driver who has set more transcontinental driving records than anyone else since Erwin “Cannonball” Baker. Carl and this team set six world records in 2015 over a seven month period with the most notable being a solo motorcycle “cannonball” traveling from Los Angeles to New York. Carl did that run in 38 hours and 49 minutes. He holds the Guinness World Record for the shortest charging time to cross the U.S.A. in an electric vehicle among his many records. One of the wonderful things Carl does is to partner with the Motorcycle Relief Project where he helps our military veterans suffering from PTSD and other injuries to heal and recover.

Michael Silverman is from Scottsdale, Arizona where he is the owner and publisher at Vintage Motorsport magazine, the journal of motor racing history. He’s been racing vintage cars for over 16 years and his publication is known as the go-to magazine and website in the vintage motorsports world. He’s been a journalist his entire life working having worked in the showbiz trade and other venues and then in 2002, following his passion for historic race cars, he joined Vintage Motorsports as the general manager. Then in 2012 he purchased the publication. I’m a long time fan and subscriber to Vintage Motorsport magazine and if you love old race cars, you’ll love it too.

Alex Riberas is an international motorsports racer driver from Barcelona, Spain who is currently racing with Team Seattle Alex Job Racing in a Porsche 911GT3R. His teammates are Ian James and Mario Farnbacher who are both past guests here at Cars Yeah. Alex started racing karts at the age of 12, then Formula Renault in Europe. He became a Porsche Motorsport Junior racer and competed in Porsche Carrera Cup and Supercup. He’s raced at the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. He’s the first Spaniard to win a Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race. Since founded in 1997 Team Seattle, founded by Cars Yeah guest Don Kitch and Alex Job Raising has raised over 6 millions of dollars for Seattle Children’s Hospital and Alex helped raise $500,000 of that in his efforts with the Heart of Raising and Team Seattle.

Boris Said is an American race car driver from California who’s been racing for over 30 years. His father was Bob Said, a Formula One race driver and a U.S. Olympic bobsled driver. In his early days Boris raced motorcycles, then SCCA in the late 80s and from there he moved to the IMSA series in a BMW M3. He’s won the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Boris has raced in NASCAR in the Craftsman Truck Series, and in cars as well and he has raced in the American Le Mans Series and he also competed in the X Games and the Baja 1000. Endurance, off road, touring cars, Boris has raced them all. Boris is a partner in a California BMW and VW dealership and he is the co-owner at K1Speed, a nationwide business with 34 indoor karting tracks.

Ed Archer has been an automotive enthusiast for over 50 years who has run an automobile appraisal company since the 70s. He is the past President of the Model T ford Club of America, past President of the Bay Area Horseless Carriage club, Mid Peninsula Old Timer Auto Club, head Class Judge at a number of Concours d’Elegance events and co-Founder of the Annual Santa Clara Valley Model T ford Club 200 Mile Cross Country Endurance Run. He’s authored numerous articles in national automobile magazines and Ed was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2005 he was inducted in to the Model T Ford Speedster and Race Cars Hall of Fame. More than anything Ed loves driving old cars.

Mario Farnbacher is from Lichtenau, Germany. He’s an international motorsports racer who is currently racing with Team Seattle Alex Job Racing in a Porsche 911GT3R. His teammates are past Cars Yeah guest Ian James and upcoming guest Alex Riberas. Mario comes from a racing family and started in karting when he was just six years old. He’s raced in the ADAC Formula Masters Series, GT Masters series in a Ferrari 458 GT3 and a Porsche 997 GT3 R. He’s run in the American Le Mans Series, 24 Hours of Nürburgring, the Sebring 12 Hours, the Tudor United Sportscar Championship, and the Lexus RC-F GT3 prototype in the VLN Series. Team Seattle, founded by Cars Yeah guest Don Kitch and Alex Job Raising has raised millions of dollars for Seattle Children’s Hospital since founded in 1997.

Tommy Kendall is an American race car driver and television broadcaster best known for his IMSA GT Championships, GTU Championships, and the SCCA Trans-Am Series where he dominated in the 1990s. He ran in 14 NASCAR Winston Cup Series races, the Busch Series, and raced in the AMP Bathurst 1000, the American Le Mans Series plus the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Tommy’s been a television analyst for Champ Car, a host on Speed Test Drive, and on numerous television shows including Speed TV’s Setup and WindTunnel, Fox Sport’s Driven – A Race Without Boundaries, and recently on the TV show Porsche 911: The Icon in Evolution with Danny Sullivan and past Cars Yeah guest Patrick Long. In 2015 Tommy was an inductee in the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.

Ken Lingenfelter is the owner of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, a 42 year old company that is the leader in aftermarket engineering and performance products and parts. In addition to this iconic brand, Ken owns the Lingenfelter Collection that consists of over 200 historically significant muscle cars, late model exotics, and Corvettes. It is one of the most noteworthy private collections in the United States. His mission for the collection is charity fundraising and they have raised thousands of dollars for local and national charities. Ken serves on the board for the Concours d’Elegance of America at St. Johns and is a past honorary chairperson for the Eyes On Design Cars Show in Detroit.

Mike Hennessey is the owner of Mike Hennessy Automotive in Santa Clara, California where for over 35 years they have specialized in purchasing, restoring and selling antique, classic, and collector cars. He’s has won the W.A.V.E and CreaTive awards for his Car Guy Channel television show where he takes his viewers to exciting automotive events around the country. For over 8 years Mike has hosted the Hot San Jose Nights event that draws hundreds of cars and enthusiasts and raises monies for local charities. Adrian Hamilton is the Managing Director at Duncan Hamilton & Company in Hampshire, England. They have been purchasing and selling the world?s finest motor cars for over 65 years. Some of the most iconic racing cars in history have passed through the company to become part of the most prestigious collections in the world. Adrian took the reins from his father, Duncan Hamilton, who from 1947 to 1957 was one of Britain?s celebrated racing drivers. Among his many victories was Le Mans in 1953. Adrian was a racer as well competing in touring cars including the iconic Ford GT40. I?ve had the great pleasure of visiting Adrian at his facility in England and it is magical place where the English country and incredible cars come together.

Hunter Brayton is a third generation racer from Coldwater, Michigan. His grandfather was a Sprint Car racer who set records around the country and his uncle, Scott Brayton, raced Indy Cars but tragically lost his life at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1996. His father raced in the IMSA series running in GTU and Camel Lite. Hunter started racing at 9 years old in a kart and moved to the national level at the age of 13. He raced SCCA Formula 600 at the age of 15 and that’s where he currently races today.

Dylan Murry has been racing for eight years earning nine championships in Karts and Legends cars, and he is currently in the chase for his 10th. He won the 2010 Andretti Pro Cup Karting title, the 2012 and 2013 GSKA and Southeastern divisional championships, the 2011 and 2013 World Karting Association national championships, (in two classes) and the 2014-15 Legends Atlanta Motor Speedway Championship. Dylan raced in the 2015 Legends Series, including “Thursday Thunder” at Atlanta Motor Speedway, and he earned a test in Spraker Racing's Late Model car. Dylan was also the 22nd winner of the Gorsline Scholarship for mental training with Dr. Dallaire. Did I mention Dylan’s only 15 years old? Dylan’s father David Murry, a past Cars Yeah guest, who is a Firestone Firehawk, World Challenge Series’, and Sports Renault champion.

Diane Fitzgerald is the National Director of the Hagerty Education Program at LeMay – America’s Cars Museum. She is continuing the work of the Hagerty Fund and Collectors Foundations to promote America’s automotive heritage and the interests of the collector community. Prior to her role with Hagerty Diane was the museum’s National Club Auto Director helping to reach beyond their campus in Tacoma, Washington. She’s an avid microcar and motorcycle enthusiast who has traveled the world by four and two wheels, often to exotic destinations including Bhutan and India. Diane and her husband Burt Richmond were on the board at the Museum and are major donors to this day.

Dan Parker is from Columbus, Georgia and has been in to racing since he was 16 years old. At his company Parker Chassis, he was a fabricator, chassis builder, crew chief, and drag racer who in 2005 won the title as the ADRL Pro Nitrous Pro Mod Champion. One of his dreams was to build a Bonneville car and a tragic racing accident set him on that course. Today Dan is realizing his dream and has designed and built a custom bike that in 2013 he took to the Bonneville Salt Flats and successfully ran, setting a world record. Dan returned in 2014 and set his F.I.M. class record. And what were these records for? Dan was the first blind man to independently race a motorcycle on the salt. Dan’s motto is: “I’m not a blind man trying to race. I’m a racer who went blind.”

Tom Collins owns and operates Tom Collins Off Road Enterprises. He is a guy who has never let a road, or the lack of one, stop him from getting somewhere. Tom builds off road tracks, provides off-road driving instruction and training for Land Rover, Porsche, Toyota, Audi, Hummer, Jeep, Ford, Nissan, Overland Expo, and SEMA. He and his teams have been the first to traverse Madagascar, Borneo, Siberia’s Elictare River Valley and the first 4X4 crossing of Colorado along the Continental Divide and the Trans America Trail. He’s won numerous events, appeared on television shows, written articles, and traveled to where few have dared venture in a vehicle.

Sue Steele Thomas has been painting automobiles since 1988 but her art career began at the tender young age of five years old. Her unique and colorful paintings have been exhibited at invitational and juried venues around the country and hang in private collections as well. Her medium is gouache and they merge nature and the automobile in a colorful juxtaposition of the mechanics of each subject she paints. Sue is a Professor of Art, holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Radford University and she is an associate member of the Automotive Fine Arts Society.

Bill Patterson is a world-class motionsports artist who is well known in the international motor racing world. He is the official artist at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and is seen at tracks and events around the world performing live art and showing his studio paintings. Bill has an eclectic mix of styles and looks. He paints commissions for both private and corporate clients and although he’s best known in auto racing circles, he is widely accepted in other sports including: tennis, hockey, skiing, soccer, and sailing. What’s Bill’s favorite painting ever? “The next one!”

Jason Killmer is a professional detailer in the Pacific Northwest who owns JK Automotive Detailing and KXK Dynamics, a new company he’s just launched. He cares for a number of high-end collectible and exotic cars and often travels to detail entire collections of unique and historic vehicles. He’s been utilized as a tester of new product testing for car care companies to help them develop and improve on their products. One of his many specialties is in the area of color sanding and polishing where his skills come in to play to bring older, original paint finishes back to their original luster and shine.

Paul Deutschman is the President at Deutschman Design in Montreal, Canada. He is one of the most respected and prolific automotive designers in North America. His work covers an impressive range of vehicle designs from exotic sports cars, to electric city cars, from utility vehicles to funky scooters, from electric boats to hand dryers. Paul has created designs for Rover, GSM New York, Specs Design, Porsche, Bombardier, and Reeves Callaway where he's designed numerous models including the GT3R, and the new AeroWagon Corvette. In 2014 the University of Hertfordshire awarded Paul with  an honorary doctorate degree in recognition of his outstanding contributions to automobile design.

Drew Alcazar is the owner of Phoenix-based Russo and Steele Collector Automobiles and he is a recognized expert in the collector car market and restorations. He and his wife Josephine launched Russo and Steele in 2000, featuring two specialty auctions annually, one in Scottsdale and the other during Car Week in Monterey, California. They specialize in European Sports Cars, American Muscle Cars, Street Rods, and Customs. In 2016 Russo and Steele is celebrating its sixteenth year auction events and is considered one of the “Big Three” premier auctions to attend for enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Charlie Postins grew up in Coventry, England. His father Bill Postins was a touring car racer and his grandfather Ted Loades founded Abbey Panels responsible for Jaguar C-type prototypes and the XJ220. ChaCharlie raced karts, Formula First, and a Renault Clio. In his early career he was an automotive clay sculpture working at design studios for Saab, Audi, VW, Rolls Royce and Porsche. He worked at Nissan Design America in La Jolla, California for ten years. Today Charlie has dusted off his helmet and competes as much as possible with fellow Cars Yeah guest Cameron Clay and recently won his class at the Thunderhill 25 Hour race. When he's not on the track Charlie runs a successful pet food business, The Honest Kitchen, with his wife and team where they produce human grade food for pets.

David Murry, owner of David Murry Motorsports, is a driver for all classes who's raced for over 35 years. His company provides driver’s coaching, trackside support, track days, and automotive storage and maintenance. David started his racing career in 1981 in a Formula Ford. Since then he’s raced in the Sports Renault series, the ALMS series Petiti LeMans at Road Atlanta, the Daytona 24 Hour, and the ALMS GT2 in a Ford GT. He was a factory driver for Nissan competing in the Grand American/Rolex Series driving GT cars and he raced in Daytona Prototypes driving a Porsche powered Doran chassis. He’s also raced a Porsche 968, BMW M3-GTR and today he drives for Team TGM in a Porsche GT4 Cayman in the IMSA Continental Tire GS Series.

James Clay owns and operates Bimmerworld which he founded in 1997 in southwest Virginia. Bimmerworld is the premier BMW tuner and performance, racing, and parts warehouse in North America. In addition to providing OEM products plus performance and racing parts, he and his group run a professional racing ream in the IMSA Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge. James’ passion for the BMW marque started with an E30 M3, a car he promptly tore apart and rebuilt to go racing. While in grad school he sold off parts of his M3 to pay for his racing habit and Bimmerworld was born. His customer’s satisfaction is the fuel that drives the company every day.

Rico Macaraeg is a recognized creative expert in marketing, advertising, and public relations and currently leads the Marketing division of Automobili Lamborghini America. He and his team drive the brand strategy of the global iconic brand for 35 Lamborghini Dealers across Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Chile, and Brazil. Previously Rico worked at Audi and he spent a decade of service to the U.S. Government in the U.S. Navy with numerous service awards. He is the Co-Chair of the Leadership Council with Miriam’s Kitchen focused to end chronic homelessness and he is an advocate with the Semper Fi Fund.

Steve Trafton owns and operates Black Horse Racing in Seattle, Washington. After a successful career in the banking industry, he embarked upon a series of long distance adventures that included walking, kayaking and boating. At the age of 64, in 2010, Steve set the World Land Speed Record for the AA Blown Fuel Modified Sport class at 275.401 mile per hour. That is a record that still stands. Today, Steve and his wife Katherine are preparing for the 9,000 mile Peking to Paris car rally. He is an intense advocate of the motto: “If you’re not moving, you’re standing still.”

Ralph Marano owns Marano & Sons Auto Sales in Garwood New Jersey. For over 35 years he has been in this family owned company, now with two locations, that buys and sells cars, trucks, and sport utility vehicles. Ralph has had a 38-plus year dedication and contribution to the classic car hobby with a special affection for the Packard and Darrin marque. While Packard’s are his first love, his Darrin collection is unique in that Ralph owns a Darrin from every year they were built from 1937 to 1942.

Matt Farah is the Executive Producer and Host at The Smoking Tire in Playa Del Rey, California. Founded in 2009 as a way to improve upon his already-successful internet series Garage 419. Matt and his crew create automotive videos, reviews, editorials, and a podcast about automobiles and anything on wheels. Their Smoking Tire video series can be enjoyed on YouTube’s premium Drive Channel and you can keep up with his travels on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter as well. He's been on television shows, produced movies, and work with the Drive Network. Kenny Haük is the owner and founder of River Raider Off Road and Haük Designs. It all started in his parent’s garage in 2007 and quickly grew. Kenny focused his time designing and building quality products for the Jeep market. Then in 2010 Haük Designs was formed and it’s there that Kenny and his talented team design, build, and offer unique and high quality parts and accessories for Jeeps. Starting from an obsessive dilemma of how to skillfully modify the exterior and especially the interior of his personal 911 in an uprated OEM+ manner, he found great difficulty in sourcing rare and exclusive interior parts, so he decided to create them himself. At Exclusive Option he has created a team that specializes in the production of extremely high quality factory style leather and alcantara options for late model Porsches. There Frank manages and designs the production of these bespoke interior components, with dreams of becoming a full-scale supplier for other brands and eventually a renowned coachbuilder in the automotive industry.

Dr. Andrew Feustel is a NASA Astronaut and Mission Specialist whose passion early in life to wrench on cars came full circle when he flew in to space on board the Space Shuttle Atlantis. He spent 13 days in space improving the Hubble Space Telescope’s observatory’s capabilities, removing frozen bolts, stripped screws, and stuck handrails. Then he flew on Space Shuttle Endeavour’s final mission to the International Space Station. Andrew served as the lead space walker on that trip delivering the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, a cosmic ray particle physics detector that examines fundamental issues about matter and the origin and structure of the universe. And a few stats for you; Drew is the 473 person to go in to space and he’s the 473 guest here on Cars Yeah!

Scot Elkins is the Chief Operating Officer for the non-profit Motorsports Safety Foundation (MSF). In addition to his role with MSF, Scot is a Race Director for the prestigious Mazda Road to Indy which is the development series for IndyCar. Austin Cabot is the editor at TrackTuned.com, a website and podcast, SlipAngle, founded by drivers, for drivers. Austin has a long pedigree of hobby addiction including but not limited to: photography, travel, driving, people, and cars - essentially, everything that is needed for tracktuned.com to work. Helping others learn to go fast on track and sharing the amazing sport of auto racing is what he is passionate about.  Austin recently began coaching at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. He is the Director of Partnerships and lead instructor for a new automotive lifestyle event called “Gridlife”, and has his own website aimed at the track day and autocross enthusiast.

Jeff Mosing is the CEO and Director at Mosing Motorcars in Austin, Texas. Tony Parella is the owner of SportsCar Vintage Racing Association, SVRA. After 30 years of success in the telecommunications industry he shifted his career focus to his true passion: auto racing. He raced dirt ovals as a young man and today Tony focuses on vintage racing. Since his acquisition of SVRA Tony has transformed it from a club racing group in to a full-fledged business with a national platform. Brian Redman participated in 358 races in his professional career. He haled from Great Britain and was victorious, outright or in his class, in 94 of those races. Alain Lévesque is a Canadian artists recognized by automotive enthusiasts throughout the world. He has painted posters for Barrett-Jackson, the New York City Concours d’Elegance in Central Park, Retromobile in Paris, and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. His art is collected by celebrities including: Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Nick Mason and I’m proud to say several of his prints hang in my home as well. Alain’s work has been published in numerous international magazines and publications. Inspired by the Art Deco and Italian Futurism movement, his work has a style and look that is unique and wonderfully suited to automobiles old and new.

Terry Kell owns and operates The Farm, located near Ogden in the rolling countryside of Eastern Quebec. The Farm is a gathering place for business owners and executives to meet, build relationships, and discuss ideas and targets. The Farm is also a place where Terry furthers his passion for automobiles. Art and The Automobile is an annual forum Terry conducts at The Farm where the new Callaway C16 supercar was unveiled and they raised thousands of dollars for local charities. Skip Barber is the President and the sole owner of the world’s most beautiful and historically significant motorsports and automotive venues Lime Rock Park. He started racing in 1958 and he won his first race and held 32 track records around the country. He founded the Skip Barber Racing School in 1975 and built it in to a premier organization that launched many professional driver’s careers. Skip sold the school in 1999 and in 1983 he acquired Lime Rock Park with six other investors. Craig Booth and his wife Pamela are automotive ceramic artists who put their talents to work creating sculptures of cars and the characters who drive them. His Car-Toons company is a platform for his studio and on line business where Craig views cars as unique machines with lives of their own. Their whimsical, beautiful works of art are often made-to-order and customized to match his automobiles, bikes, boats, and even the people who own them. The details are so precise in their pieces that they get down to automotive specifications and even their customer’s eye colors. I own some of Craig’s work and they are spectacular.

Bob Ingram is a General Partner at Hatteras Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in early stage life science companies. Prior to joining Hatteras he was CEO at Glaxo-Wellcome. His passion for automobiles has spanned his life and his success in business lead him to collecting car, more specifically Porsches. The Ingram collection is focused on preserving automotive history. He often drives, shows, and shares his cars and many are featured in the book Porsche Unexpected from Coachbuilt Press. Paul Cain began his career at TRW Space and Defense as an industrial engineer before transitioning to TRW Automotive, working in program management in the early launch of automotive airbag crash sensors and airbag inflators. He was TRW's Director of Operations for TRW Steering and Suspension in Sydney, Australia before moving to BEI Duncan Electronics in 1999 as Director of Sales, Marketing and Program Management. He was also General Manager of Piher Sensors and Controls, North America. Paul is a committed volunteer during the Monterey car week. He serves as both the BMW CCA chief Concours judge for Legends of the Autobahn and as Co-Chairman for the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance Class Hosts. Paul has said many times: ‘Came to see the cars, returned to enjoy the friendships.’

Bill Fleischman is the Chairman of the Board and CEO at W/F Investment Corporation and W/F Classic Cars in Los Angeles, California. Norman Mayersohn spent 11 years at The New York Times, where he served as the deputy editor of the paper’s Automobiles section. Josh Lange studied Mechanical Engineering in college before transferring to Savannah College of Art and Design. Born and raised in the Czech Replublic, Petr started his career in computer graphics at 17 and after graduating from the University of Ostrava he began a career that combined his passion for automobiles with his skills using computers.
