Francesco Aglietti is a Composites Design Engineer with McLaren Racing in Surrey, England. He’s been part of the team for over six years. He pursued engineering in college and after joining an exchange program with Cornell University he got involved with Formula SAE and was able to work on a race car. He was offered an internship with Dallara Racing working on GP2 cars and that experience lead to joining Toro Rosso in Italy, working as a Junior Designer on their F1 Team. Francesco then migrated to Design Engineering where he worked with composites and that opened the door to McLaren.

Dusan Djordjevic is an automotive artist and graphic designer who lives in Belgrade, Serbia. At 21 years of age he’s the youngest artist that I’ve had as a guest here on Cars yeah. A fan of the great masters, including Vermeer, Van Eyck, and others he started drawing VW Beetles and Porsches and began creating a following of automotive art fans. Most of his work is on commission and you can find his art in automotive magazines and on social media sites around the globe. He designs and produces a line of shirts with his art adorning them and today Dusan has created over 120 commissioned works of automotive art for clients throughout the world. I found him on Instagram and being a fan of German cars, I admire his art greatly.

Tod Mesirow is the owner of Robot Body Inc. He has worked on many of televisions top automotive shows throughout his career. It all started when he was asked to film Phil Hill driving a Ferrari 330 TRI/LM for RM Auctions. He was on Monster Garage for the last 54 of their 86 episodes. He produced “the lost pilot” of Top Gear, hosted by Adam Carolla. He worked on Overhaulin’, the Ultimate Car Build Off, Mytbusters, Joe Rogan Questions Everything, and Richard Hammond’s Crash course. Today he talks about cars on the Los Angeles NPR member station KCRW. Tod is executive producing Season 14 of the Velocity/Discovery International hit series Wheeler Dealer with past Cars Yeah guest Mike Brewer. Tod is also a contributing writer on The Review Garage website where they rate the best and worst in cars, trucks, motorcycles, tools, and accessories.

He has over 10 years of experience in the detailing industry, when a summer job he started after graduating from high school became a career. David Helmer is a Hall of Fame auctioneer and the President of Braun and Helmer Auction Service in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Since 1971 he and his team have helped clients sell their estates, antiques, farms, real estate, motorcycles, trucks, and automobiles. David conducts over 100 auctions yearly working with individual clients and many nonprofit groups including the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and Motts Children’s Hospital. David also owns The Super Auction and the website TheAuctioneerChannel.com. He’s the past president of the Michigan State Auctioneers association and earned State Champion Auctioneer in 2006 and in 2008 the Ring Man Champion. In 2014 he was inducted in to the MSA Auction Hall of Fame.

Albert Heiles is the Founder and Editor of Autobahn Automotive Media, an automotive blog showcasing everything automotive. Albert was bitten by the car bug thanks to his father who is also a car guy. While his father was a fan of MG’s, Albert’s passion fell for Volkswagen’s thanks to Herbie the Love Bug. Greg Tracy is part of the Driver’s Inc. stunt team, where he is a Hot Wheels driver and a top Hollywood stuntman. He is known for doing crazy stunts in movies including Talladega Nights, The Fast and Furious, and in the movie Bourne Ultimatum where he earned the World Stunt Award. Greg has also appeared in numerous TV commercials. As one of the elite Team Hot Wheels drivers Greg captured the Guiness Book of Records performing the Hot Wheels Double Double Dare Loop in 2012. Greg is also a regular at the Pikes Peak race where he is a seven time record holder and he holds a record for the Electric Car Division with a time of 9:08. He is also the only racer to go under 10 minutes at Pikes Peak on two and four wheels. He’s won the Baja 1000, raced in Formula 2000, Indy Cars, and he’s gone over 210 mph on a motorcycle at the Bonneville Salt Flats during several World Record Attempts.

Davide Bassoli is the manager and publisher at Nubes Argentea in Parma, Italy where he specializes in fine books about Rolls-Royce and Bentley automobiles. In honor of his Italian origins, the name Nubes Argentea is the translation in the antic Latin language for Silver Cloud. Considered as an expert in the world about the Silver Cloud and S-type models, Davide is often consulted to offer his expertise on these models. He is the author of the multi-award winning book Every Cloud has a Silver Lining. A life long automotive enthusiast Davide has written for the major classic car magazines in Europe and collaborated with the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta della Sport to produce the DVD series Auto da Sogno about automotive marques. He co-authored with Bernard L. King his first book titled Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I and Bentley S1: 50 Years and he is the driving force behind the Italian Section of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club.

Nathan Warren is the owner of Warren Customs in Hamilton Alabama. He’s been repairing, restoring, and painting ever since he opened his first paint shop as a sixth grader, charging kids fifty cents to paint their Hot Wheels. He’s worked at several different jobs but decided to open his own business in 2014. At his shop they do everything from collision repair to custom restorations and builds including street cars, hot rods, boats, and muscle cars. His real talents lie in his paint shop where they will put down anything from a single color to wild graphics, flames, stripes, and much more. Nathan also offers accessories for vehicles and includes installation and customizing.

Ben Felten’s dream is to set a speed record on a motorcycle. During Speed Week on a salt lake in the outback of South Australia he and his navigator and past Moto GP racer Kevin Magee, will challenge the world record of 265.33kk/h for the fastest speed for a motorcycle ridden blindfolded. But Ben won’t need to wear a blindfold because he is completely blind. Born fully sighted a degenerative eye disease, Retinitis Pigmentosa took Ben’s sight when he was in his late 20s. Deciding to make a difference for people with a disability, Ben created a charity foundation titled Insight of Dreams.org as a legacy for his motorcycle racing ventures to support people with an acquired disability. He is currently the Managing Director of BlindSpeed, a company he established to set land speed records and where they design and build Dual control race cars for disabled drivers. He is a former world champion with medals in Rowing and Cricket and he continues to be an inspiration and encourage everyone to pursue their dreams.

Dan Taylor is the Chairman of the Board of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, an annual event now in its 35th year that takes place in Schenley Park and the surrounding Pittsburgh areas. Ted Sohier is a member of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix’s Executive Committee. It’s an annual event now in its 35th year that takes place July 7 through the 15. He is a retired career broadcaster in radio and television who is also a lifelong automotive enthusiast. Ted began competing in SCCA autocross and moved to road racing earning a National license and winning several minor championships in the Northeast driving a Showroom Stock B, Chevy Citation in the early 80s. Ted got involved in the PVGP at the beginning to help run the race as an announcer and today he is the event’s Chief Announcer. He and a huge team help make the event a reality and they raise monies for local charities. Richard Webb is an automotive artist whose passion for design, the romance of classic cars, and race cars is reflected in his paintings and drawings. He’s owned over 374 classic cars in his life and while he’s tried retiring a few time, Richard quickly discovered painting to be his encore career. His art begins as a design process with meticulous attention to composition, the backdrop, landscapes, architectural icons, and detail in his automotive subject matter. Mostly working with acrylic paint he mixes sand, modeling paste, epoxy, and sometimes deep set wood panels to create his images. In addition to painting on canvas he’s been knows to use nontraditional surfaces including surfboards, doors, and barn wood. While most of his work is easily recognizable Richard has painted abstracts, portraits, and landscapes as well. Richard has been commissioned by art collectors, auto aficionados, and major global brands. His work can be found in the homes and businesses of art collectors worldwide.

Megan Gilkes is a 16 year old racer from Richmond Hill, Canada who’s been in the driver’s seat since the age of nine. She started with karting and won the Barbados 2011 Easykart 60cc half-season championship. A crash and recovery kept her off the track in 2012 through 2014 but she was back at it in 2015 winning multiple races in the Ottowa Challenge Karting Series. Last year she graduated the Skip Barber Racing School and became a member of Dare To Be Different and competed in her first real race car in a Miller Oils F1200 at Mosport. By her fourth race she earned a second place in the US Majors series and today competes in a Formula Vee at Mosport, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with the Vallis Motor Sport team. This summer she’ll run in South Africa and Brazil with the Challenge Cup Series.

Mark Pribanic is a vintage car enthusiast who lives in Neptune Beach, Florida. Unlike many car collectors, Mark drives his 1958 Porsche 356 and Brumos Porsche race inspired 1958 VW bus daily. We’re talking over 275,000 miles through 33 states over 19 years of ownership. Chris Collard is the Editor-in-Chief of the Overland Journal, an international Vehicle-dependent adventure magazine. He took a leap toward his passion and left a 17-year position to pursue a career in photojournalism. That was the late 90s and since then he’s published hundreds of articles and thousands of images in over a dozen publications on six continents. He’s traveled the world shooting in the outback of Australia, the Moroccan Sahara, the jungles of Venezuela to the Kalahari Desert. He raced James Garner’s 1970 Oldsmobile 442, the “grabber Olds” with off-road legend Rod Hall and he drove Mark Smith’s original Expedicion de las Americas Jeep CJ-7 across South America just to name a few of his many adventures. In 2013 Chris was inducted in to the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame as a pioneering journalist.

Ethan Bowers is the Archives Manager at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum in Auburn, Indiana. While obtaining his MA in History, he was hired as an intern at the ACD Museum, where he discovered a whole new side to cars and their influence on American culture. In 2015, Ethan was hired to head the museum’s new digitization project. Since then he has been immersed in the world of automobiles. He currently manages the museum’s digitization project and cares for its archival collection. Involved in the car hobby since his childhood, he founded a vintage car restoration business after completing graduate school in 1988 and operated that business until selling it in 1995. He began writing and providing photography to various car magazines and accumulated a wide range of experience photographing vehicles, motorsports, events, facilities, and people for many of the world's major automobile manufacturers and a diverse array of other companies, including: Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Cadillac, Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, and many others. Andy Beckman is the Archivist at the Studebaker National Museum in South Bend, Indiana. He has been with the museum since 1999 where their state-of-the-art, 55,000 square-foot facility, has been open since 2005. The building has three levels and features galleries and storage facilities where they honor and perpetuate the legacy of the rich industrial heritage of the South Bend area and the Studebaker marque. He also serves as President of the Society of Automotive Historians. Andy grew up in a family of Studebaker owners, and drives a 1964 Studebaker Daytona Hardtop. Andrew previously worked at the Sheboygan County Historical Society and Wade House State Historic Site. He’s authored two books: The Studebaker National Museum: Over a Century on Wheels, and Studebaker’s Last Dance: The Avanti.

Doug Freedman and his wife Genie are the Founders of Carmel by the Sea Concours on the Avenue. It’s an annual event that takes place during Car Week in August where the other events vintage racing, Concorso Italiano, The Quail, the Pebble Beach Concours and numerous other events. Carmel by the Sea Concours on the Avenue is on Ocean Avenue in the heart of Carmel and it kicks off Car Week on a Tuesday benefiting the Carmel Foundation. Theirs is a gathering of collectible cars, race cars, and multi-marques, where originality and participation are the focus with a dash of fun thrown in, all adding to the casual nature of the show. Doug started this concours 11 years ago after retiring from a career in real estate development. He’s been a car guy ever since he was a kid and what better way to throw a party every year for thousands of of your friends and automotive enthusiasts.

Renee Brinkerhoff is the Founder and Driver of Valkyrie Racing where she currently races a 1956 Porsche 356 A coupe in road and rally racing events. In 2013, at the age of 57, in her first race car of any kind, Renee became the first woman in the 30-year history to win her class in the La Carrera Panamericana, an event known as the world’s most dangerous road race. Raised in the U.S. and Southeast Asia her enthusiasm for life was no doubt shaped by her surroundings. For 30 years a voice in her head told her she would some day race a car. Scott Dishman is the Executive Director of the BMW Car Club of America Foundation, overseeing a nationwide car-control program for teenagers, and the largest BMW Museum & Archive in the Americas. Scott spent 21 years in corporate marketing and brand strategy starting with Automobile Magazine and eventually serving as the Director of Communications for the $3 billion Michelin consumer brand in the U.S. In 2006 Scott left the corporate world to work on behalf of Children at risk and led the launch of The Family Effect. Today in addition to his role with BMW, Scott serves on the Board of several philanthropic organizations and children’s causes and in 2015 Scott was selected to receive the Ethics in Action Award by the Rutland Institute for Ethics at Clemson University. Neil Podbery is an artist and painter who lives in the United Kingdom. He paints a wide variety of subject matters however his passions lie with transportation including automobiles, aircraft, and especially trains. Steam locomotives became the basis for his initial foray into commercial art and he is a member of the Guild of Railway Artists. He is also captivated by wildlife and that passion grew while on safari in South Africa. Neil’s art has been exhibited at some of the most prestigious motoring events throughout the UK, Europe, and the United States. He was commissioned to paint Prince Charle’s Aston Martin DB6 and he was asked to be the Artist in Residence for the Concours of Elegance at Windsor Palace, Hampton Court Palace, St. James Palace, and Holyrood House, all of which are Royal Households used by the British Royal family.

Bob Marlow is a veteran motorsports writer and speedway public address announcer from New Jersey. Bob’s been to more than 100 speedways in the US and Canada covering everything from the local short tracks to Formula 1 and IndyCar.  Most recently Bob was at Phoenix Raceway, where he was on the microphone for the Vintage Desert Classic vintage IndyCar event that was part of the Verizon Indycar Series’ weekend. And he just completed a 15-year run as the lead announcer for the “Gambler’s Classic” midwinter indoor racing events in Atlantic City.  Now retired from announcing, today Bob is the Motorsports Editor for CarShowSafari.com, a web site with the ambitious tagline of “Every Car Event, Everywhere.” Bob is also a classic car enthusiast, and can be seen roaming the aisles at Hershey every October.

Dana Newquist is the President of the Santa Barbara AACA Region (Antique Automobile Club of America). His is a lifetime of automotive enthusiasm that began when just prior to graduating from High School, in 1965 when Dana purchased a rusty old 1957 Chevy 150 2 door. It was the first of hundreds of cars, first fast, later slow. His passion for cars has lead to a collection of 16 cars today, mostly pre-war American of various marques. Dana’s involvement with the AACA has helped him make connections and affiliations with Museums and he is a Board Member of the Murphy Auto Museum. He’s helped chair and organize local car shows and he currently co-chairs the Montecito Motor Classic and Father’s Day Show at the Santa Barbara Club that takes place annually.

Tim Willard was four years old when he sat on his father’s lap and steered the family’s Pontiac Chieftain down a dirt road. In high school he worked at a local Alfa Romeo dealership, learning his craft on Italian marques including Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini. He was a race mechanic with some top teams competing in Formula Atlantic, Indy Lights, and IMSA GTP. Later he restored cars with past Cars Yeah guest Butch Dennison*, who then worked with Pete Lovely at Pete Lovely Racing. He served as a tech with BMW Northwest and then spent 15 years at Griot’s Garage as a product development specialist and then a curator and restorer of the owner’s private collection. Today Tim is a senior restoration technician at Dennison International in Puyallup Washington where they restore Pebble Beach winning automobiles and service vintage race cars and touring cars for their clients.

Bob Walker is the author of a new book titled Cobra Pilote: The Ed Hugus Story. Bob, a Cobra owner who lives in Pebble Beach, California, was competing in the Monterey Historic Races when he met James Edward (ED) Hugus, a racing driver and car dealer who helped Carroll Shelby develop the first Cobra. Bob and Ed became friends and during that time he told Bob about his experiences with Carroll Shelby and the part he played in the beginning of the Cobra’s history. Ed Hugus passed away in 2006 but his story lives on through the work of Bob who tells the Cobra story in a different perspective than the multitude of other Cobra book written and it corrects many of the misconceptions of the Cobra history. Ned Scudder is credited with the preface and past Cars Yeah guest Pete Brock wrote the foreword. This fantastic book is hardcover, 304 pages, and published by Dalton Watson Fine Books.

Don Nunley spent much of his career in the film industry with credits as property master, set decorator, and production designer. He’s been a member of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences since 1977 and worked on films including: Save the Tiger, Little Big man, Deer Hunter and with Steve McQueen on Le Mans. Nicole Cancelier is an automotive artist who lives in Belgium and was born in to a family of artistic parents. When he was very young a neighbor who was a mechanic took Nicolas to the races at Zolder in Belgium where he watched his first F1 race. That started a lifetime of drawing and painting motorsports with a special passion for cars of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. He’s designed and painted racing helmets and he began to focus on painting motor sports. His first exhibition was at Goodwood. He enjoys using a variety of mediums for his art including oil, watercolor, pastels, and pencil.

Harley Cluxton the III is the Founder of Grand Touring Cars in Phoenix, Arizona. Back in 1972, Harley incorporated his business and became the youngest owner of a Ferrari authorized dealer at the age of 26. Then in 1973 he was awarded the Lamborghini dealer for the Western United States. In 1976 he purchased the Mirage racing team from Gulf Oil and he went on to manufacture, develop, and race the Mirage at tracks around the world including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The company went on to restore, race prepare, and sell significantly important race cars with serious historical provenance. Through the years his reputation grew and he expanded to consulting. Today he and his team continue to provide discreet, personal attention to his customers through sales, acquisitions, comprehensive restorations, and expert valuations.

Hugo Prado is an automotive artist who grew up in Miraflores, a west coast surfing suburb of Lima-Peru in South America. After working as an illustrator in advertising he decided in 1989 to pursue his passion for cars and became a full-time automotive artist and founded Automotive Fine Art. He works in acrylic and water colors sprayed through the airbrush and then uses technical pens to enhance the details. Adam Hosey is a professional motorsports photographer from Bonney Lake, Washington. He discovered his passion for the camera in high school when a friend’s father offered the use of his dark room. Back then he shot aircraft at Paine field, the Unlimited Hydroplane Races, and then he discovered the ProFormance Racing School at Pacific Raceway where past Cars Yeah guest Don Kitch runs an on-track school. Since then Adam has traveled with Team Seattle to the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona to photograph the race. Adam also shoots at the local SCCA and vintage races, for clients on consignment, and he sells gallery-quality prints of his work with matting and framing.

Mark Smith is the Founder of Smyth Performance, his third automotive company since starting Factory Five Racing back in 1992. Factory Five Racing became the largest component car company in the world. Before selling the company to his brother Dave his signature “aluminum under glass” Cobra and Daytona Coupe race car designs sold over 10,000 unites. In 2007 he teamed with Jay Rogers to create Local Motors that has a worldwide network of vehicle micro-factories where they produce vehicles as outrageous as the “Tansformers” featured Rally Fighter and the world’s first 3D printed cars. Mark continued to build wild machines ranging from a 1500 hp 50 foot bio-diesel speedboat, to a drag bike, and today at Smyth Performance builds the Jetta/Golf 4, a mini pick-up conversion based on the VW Jetta.

Francois Cevert won his first GP race that day by passing Jackie Stewart in the closing laps. Since then Michael has been capturing moments with his camera in all areas but after 30 years as a professional photographer chose to focus on motorsports exclusively. He’s chased the American LeMans Series and IndyCar and has settled nicely in to the world do fine motorcars, and vintage racing. Caractacus Pott was a failed widower and eccentric inventor whose ideas were ahead of his time. He was down on his luck and unable to afford a family car. His efforts to invent a candy he called "Toot Sweets" that can be played like a flute, end in disaster. His children, who are often truant from school, uncovered a crashed Grand Prix racer in the local junk yard and convinced their father to buy her and restore the car. In a truly bizarre accident he meet the daughter of a local factory owner and begins a journey unlike any other. Using an old boat hull he restores the car to her former fame and glory and takes the family for the ride of their life. They travel to Vulgaria and meet up with the Baron and Baroness Bomburst where the car is stolen, his children are kidnapped, and, well the rest as they say, is an amazing adventure.

Syd Mead is a designer, an artist and a futurist whose career spans five plus decades of creativity and vision. He started at the Ford Motor Company’s Advanced Design Studio and then traveled the world illustrating books, catalogues, and product design for a wide variety of corporate entities. He created architectural renderings for most of the best firms and then moved in to the motion picture industry where he designed and illustrated for iconic films. In 2016 the Visual Effects Society awarded Syd their top honor as Visual Futurist. His first love is transportation design and Syd’s art and design can be found around the world. His latest book, the Movie Art of Syd Mead: Visual Futurist will be available in September, 2017 through Titan Publications. His autobiography is in the works as well titled A Future Remembered. This June Syd will receive a lifetime design achievement award at the Eleanor Ford estate in Grosse Point Shores, Michigan during the Eyes On Design Collector Car Show.

Carter Kelly Kramer is an automotive photographer and a manager at Collector’s Car Garage with locations in Chicago and New York. There he handles sales and marketing for the company. Collector’s Car Garage is a place where members store their cars in a state of the art facility designed for the preservation of special vehicles. They offer a concierge service, in-house detailing, events, sales, and mostly a country club environment for car people. John Rogers is the Director of Club Operations at the Thermal Club in Thermal, California nestled in a valley between the Santa Rosa Mountains and Joshua Tree National Park. The Thermal Club is a private, Alan Wilson designed five-mile racetrack. It features dramatic changes in character, speed, and elevation and includes multiple circuit configurations plus autocross, karting tracks, and skid pads. There’s a clubhouse, mechanics and expert race technicians, and the Villas which are private homes and garages where members keep their cars and entertain or simply escape to play with their vehicles. Prior to his involvement at the Thermal Club John has worked in the oil and gas industry and started a car customization business.

Tim Arfons is the Founder of Akron Turbine Group where they design and build track driers. Their units are unique in that they are easy to operate, self contained, and fit in the back of a pickup truck. Tim grew up in an automotive family and his father Art is a legendary three-time land speed record holder. Tim started racing in a front engine dragster powered by a General Electric T-58 turbine engine. He and his father then built the unique U.S.S. Enterprise tractor to compete in tractor pulling contests and went on to win numerous events. He went on to participate in the United States Hot Rod Association Monster Truck events and then built the Green Monster funny car. Later came a series of exhibition vehicles including the Kamikaze quad runner, The Jet Jumper, Jet Barstool, and American Thunder Jet Jeep. Tim's raced, been a stuntman, jumped over all sorts of things as an exhibition performer, he's a guy who has done it all.

Amy Leaner is an off road racer, driver and adventurer. After a career on Wall Street and as a stay-at-home mom, Amy competed in Morocco’s Rallye Aicha de Gazelles, an all-female international endurance rally in the Sahara Desert. She competed in the demanding Expert Class and also won the Eco-Driving Challenge. In 2013, she competed in the grueling 25000 km Australasian Safari Rally and won Overall Production Class and became the first woman to win the Dakar Challenge in her class. Recently Amy raced in the Mint 400, a US desert races riding with past Cars Yeah guest Shelby Hall and Amy trained with the legendary Rod Hall, Shelby’s grandfather. Amy has driven Jay Leno off road on his television show “Jay Leno’s Garage” and you’ll soon see her on Brian Johnson’s show “Cars That Rock.”

Bill Hahn began specializing in collectible automotive restoration in 1978 and has never looked back. In 2001 Bill teamed up with Wes Woodward to form Hahn and Woodward Auto Restoration LLC. This firm later became Hahn-Vorbach & Associates LLC when Wes stepped down and Paul Vorbach became a full partner. Located in Harmony, Pennsylvania the shop performs ground up restorations on a variety of vehicles including Mercedes-Benz, Ferraris and Jaguars as well as American made classics. In 2016, Bill and his business partner, Paul Vorbach, co-founded HV3Dworks LLC., a high tech start-up that is bringing 3D Scanning and Printing technology to the automotive restoration and customization industry. Bill is one of the founders of the Wexford Starlite Car Cruise. One of the largest weekly cruises on the East Coast.

Paul and his business partner Bill Hahn co-founded HV3Dworks, a high tech start-up that is bringing 3D scanning and printing technology to the automotive restoration and customization industry. John Bothwell is the Director at Pur Sang in Parana, Argentina where he and his talented team manufacture historic sports cars. Pur Sang builds over 20 cars a year in over 25 different models including Alfa Romeo and Mercedes with most popular being the Bugatti Type 35 B racecar. Those cars won over 1,000 races back in their day. Pur Sang was founded decades ago by Leonidas Jorge Anadón. He is a master restorer with a fascination for Bugatti. He copied a real Type 35 while restoring one and began making authentic reproductions. Pur Sang replicates all of the original manufacturing methods from the 20s and 30s to exacting, hand craftsmanship and their automobiles are truly works of art. Laura Klauser is the Program Manager for the Cadillac ATS-VR race program that runs in the Pirelli World Challenge GT. Born and raised near Baltimore, Maryland, Laura received her Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan. Laura started working for General Motors as a co-op student and then full time in 2008. She’s held various positions on different platforms including advanced design on the Corvette C7, releasing parts for the Cadillac CT6, and noise and vibration on the Chevrolet Cruze, Buick Encore, and Chevrolet Spark. Laura is active in SAE including Dynamic Events Coordinator for the Formula SAE Michigan Competition. She also participates in track day events driving her Cobalt SS turbo or her Corvette Grand Sport.

She is a seasoned automotive advice correspondent, an avid automotive enthusiast, and a radio announcer. She has lived most of her life in Shepparton, Victoria and her parents owned a motorcycle shop when she was growing up. At 13 she purchased her first car, a Morris Minor that she paid $50 for and later sold for $100. Mandy works in radio as a news writer and an on air talent and recently won a contest as the Car Advice’s Correspondent where she gets to test drive a new car every week and report her experience and opinions.
