Mitch Snow,a Colorado Springs native, is one of the youngest professional international motorsport promoters and event organizers in the world. He serves as the Director of Promotion & Legacy at The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Brought to you by Gran Turismo. Over 50 years ago his Grandfather Charlie served on the race’s technical committee, sponsored the event, and opened the doors of Snow Automotive to give out of town competitors a place to wrench on their race cars throughout the grueling race week.  Mitch’s father raced the hill and took Mitch to his first race in 1995; and he hasn’t missed a race since. Today Mitch uses his passion for the race and extensive knowledge of its history to promote recreational tourism throughout the Pikes Peak Region and develop the future of America’s second oldest motorsports event.

Jay Blake is the owner and crew chief at Follow A Dream, a non-profit organization established in 1999 with the mission of demonstrating the power of positive thinking, self determination, and teamwork through NHRA drag racing. Jay owns a professional motorsport team, he works on the cars, engines, and provides his team with enthusiasm and determination. Jay travels with Follow A Dream as a motivational speaker, helping people overcome adversity, challenge, and crisis by sharing his story and inspiring others to pursue their dreams. Jay has first hand knowledge when it comes to challenge. At the age of 31 he lost his eyesight in an accident and today he is the only totally blind, race crew chief in the world.

Jacques Flynn is an industrial designer, automotive designer, and leather goods innovator. He graduated with a degree in transportation design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He is a Lead Exterior Designer working at Mazda’s Design Studio in Irvine, California where his latest project was the exterior designs for the 2016 MX-5 automobiles. In 2012 he founded JAQET after being frustrated and unable to find a leather wallet that met his standards. He learned about working in leather and put his design skills to work creating a line of handcrafted leather goods including: wallets, lanyards, iPad portfolios, belts, and more.

Rob Pitts is the owner of Pitts Truck Service in Greenville, South Carolina. This 40-year-old company has been providing truck and trailer repair from light service to full overhauls. Last year Rob started Hot Rods & Happy Hour, a monthly car event like the well-known cars and coffee events that take place across the country. His event has grown and will be expanding to other states. Along with getting like-minded enthusiasts together to enjoy their cars, trucks, and motorcycles, Hot Rods & Happy Hour raises money to help children affected by Autism. Pat McCue is the automotive technology teacher for the Northshore Automotive Technology program at Bothell High School in Bothell, WA. Before that he was an ASE and Ford Master Technician. In 2012 he and his students converted a 2003 BMW 330i to an all electric and presented the project at the WSU Imagine Tomorrow competition. This garnered the attention of an education research foundation titled Foundry 10 and a new project blossomed where they built an all electric dragster they named Shock & Awe. Foundry 10 was started in 2013 with the goal of gaining a better understanding of how people learn.

In 2013, Ed and two friends took a drive from New York to Los Angeles and set a new world record, completing their journey in 28 hours and 50 minutes. Carl Reese is an American endurance driver who has set more transcontinental driving records than anyone else since Erwin “Cannonball” Baker. Carl and this team set six world records in 2015 over a seven month period with the most notable being a solo motorcycle “cannonball” traveling from Los Angeles to New York. Carl did that run in 38 hours and 49 minutes. He holds the Guinness World Record for the shortest charging time to cross the U.S.A. in an electric vehicle among his many records. One of the wonderful things Carl does is to partner with the Motorcycle Relief Project where he helps our military veterans suffering from PTSD and other injuries to heal and recover.

Alex Riberas is an international motorsports racer driver from Barcelona, Spain who is currently racing with Team Seattle Alex Job Racing in a Porsche 911GT3R. His teammates are Ian James and Mario Farnbacher who are both past guests here at Cars Yeah. Alex started racing karts at the age of 12, then Formula Renault in Europe. He became a Porsche Motorsport Junior racer and competed in Porsche Carrera Cup and Supercup. He’s raced at the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. He’s the first Spaniard to win a Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race. Since founded in 1997 Team Seattle, founded by Cars Yeah guest Don Kitch and Alex Job Raising has raised over 6 millions of dollars for Seattle Children’s Hospital and Alex helped raise $500,000 of that in his efforts with the Heart of Raising and Team Seattle.

Boris Said is an American race car driver from California who’s been racing for over 30 years. His father was Bob Said, a Formula One race driver and a U.S. Olympic bobsled driver. In his early days Boris raced motorcycles, then SCCA in the late 80s and from there he moved to the IMSA series in a BMW M3. He’s won the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Boris has raced in NASCAR in the Craftsman Truck Series, and in cars as well and he has raced in the American Le Mans Series and he also competed in the X Games and the Baja 1000. Endurance, off road, touring cars, Boris has raced them all. Boris is a partner in a California BMW and VW dealership and he is the co-owner at K1Speed, a nationwide business with 34 indoor karting tracks.

Ed Archer has been an automotive enthusiast for over 50 years who has run an automobile appraisal company since the 70s. He is the past President of the Model T ford Club of America, past President of the Bay Area Horseless Carriage club, Mid Peninsula Old Timer Auto Club, head Class Judge at a number of Concours d’Elegance events and co-Founder of the Annual Santa Clara Valley Model T ford Club 200 Mile Cross Country Endurance Run. He’s authored numerous articles in national automobile magazines and Ed was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2005 he was inducted in to the Model T Ford Speedster and Race Cars Hall of Fame. More than anything Ed loves driving old cars.

Mario Farnbacher is from Lichtenau, Germany. He’s an international motorsports racer who is currently racing with Team Seattle Alex Job Racing in a Porsche 911GT3R. He’s run in the American Le Mans Series, 24 Hours of Nürburgring, the Sebring 12 Hours, the Tudor United Sportscar Championship, and the Lexus RC-F GT3 prototype in the VLN Series. Tommy Kendall is an American race car driver and television broadcaster best known for his IMSA GT Championships, GTU Championships, and the SCCA Trans-Am Series where he dominated in the 1990s. He ran in 14 NASCAR Winston Cup Series races, the Busch Series, and raced in the AMP Bathurst 1000, the American Le Mans Series plus the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Tommy’s been a television analyst for Champ Car, a host on Speed Test Drive, and on numerous television shows including Speed TV’s Setup and WindTunnel, Fox Sport’s Driven – A Race Without Boundaries, and recently on the TV show Porsche 911: The Icon in Evolution with Danny Sullivan and past Cars Yeah guest Patrick Long. Ken Lingenfelter is the owner of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, a 42 year old company that is the leader in aftermarket engineering and performance products and parts. Hunter Brayton is a third generation racer from Coldwater, Michigan. His grandfather was a Sprint Car racer who set records around the country and his uncle, Scott Brayton, raced Indy Cars but tragically lost his life at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1996. His father raced in the IMSA series running in GTU and Camel Lite. Hunter started racing at 9 years old in a kart and moved to the national level at the age of 13. He raced SCCA Formula 600 at the age of 15 and that’s where he currently races today.

Dylan Murry has been racing for eight years earning nine championships in Karts and Legends cars, and he is currently in the chase for his 10th. He won the 2010 Andretti Pro Cup Karting title, the 2012 and 2013 GSKA and Southeastern divisional championships, the 2011 and 2013 World Karting Association national championships, (in two classes) and the 2014-15 Legends Atlanta Motor Speedway Championship. Dylan raced in the 2015 Legends Series, including “Thursday Thunder” at Atlanta Motor Speedway, and he earned a test in Spraker Racing's Late Model car. Dylan was also the 22nd winner of the Gorsline Scholarship for mental training with Dr. Dallaire. Did I mention Dylan’s only 15 years old? Diane Fitzgerald is the National Director of the Hagerty Education Program at LeMay – America’s Cars Museum. She is continuing the work of the Hagerty Fund and Collectors Foundations to promote America’s automotive heritage and the interests of the collector community. Prior to her role with Hagerty Diane was the museum’s National Club Auto Director helping to reach beyond their campus in Tacoma, Washington. Dan Parker is from Columbus, Georgia and has been in to racing since he was 16 years old. At his company Parker Chassis, he was a fabricator, chassis builder, crew chief, and drag racer who in 2005 won the title as the ADRL Pro Nitrous Pro Mod Champion. One of his dreams was to build a Bonneville car and a tragic racing accident set him on that course. Today Dan is realizing his dream and has designed and built a custom bike that in 2013 he took to the Bonneville Salt Flats and successfully ran, setting a world record. Dan returned in 2014 and set his F.I.M. class record. And what were these records for? Dan was the first blind man to independently race a motorcycle on the salt. Dan’s motto is: “I’m not a blind man trying to race. I’m a racer who went blind.”

Sue Steele Thomas has been painting automobiles since 1988 but her art career began at the tender young age of five years old. Her unique and colorful paintings have been exhibited at invitational and juried venues around the country and hang in private collections as well. Her medium is gouache and they merge nature and the automobile in a colorful juxtaposition of the mechanics of each subject she paints. Jason Killmer is a professional detailer in the Pacific Northwest who owns JK Automotive Detailing and KXK Dynamics, a new company he’s just launched. Paul Deutschman is the President at Deutschman Design in Montreal, Canada. He is one of the most respected and prolific automotive designers in North America. His work covers an impressive range of vehicle designs from exotic sports cars, to electric city cars, from utility vehicles to funky scooters, from electric boats to hand dryers. Paul has created designs for Rover, GSM New York, Specs Design, Porsche, Bombardier, and Reeves Callaway where he's designed numerous models including the GT3R, and the new AeroWagon Corvette. Charlie Postins grew up in Coventry, England. His father Bill Postins was a touring car racer and his grandfather Ted Loades founded Abbey Panels responsible for Jaguar C-type prototypes and the XJ220. ChaCharlie raced karts, Formula First, and a Renault Clio. In his early career he was an automotive clay sculpture working at design studios for Saab, Audi, VW, Rolls Royce and Porsche. He worked at Nissan Design America in La Jolla, California for ten years. Today Charlie has dusted off his helmet and competes as much as possible with fellow Cars Yeah guest Cameron Clay and recently won his class at the Thunderhill 25 Hour race. When he's not on the track Charlie runs a successful pet food business, The Honest Kitchen, with his wife and team where they produce human grade food for pets.

David Murry, owner of David Murry Motorsports, is a driver for all classes who's raced for over 35 years. His company provides driver’s coaching, trackside support, track days, and automotive storage and maintenance. David started his racing career in 1981 in a Formula Ford. Since then he’s raced in the Sports Renault series, the ALMS series Petiti LeMans at Road Atlanta, the Daytona 24 Hour, and the ALMS GT2 in a Ford GT. Steve Trafton owns and operates Black Horse Racing in Seattle, Washington. After a successful career in the banking industry, he embarked upon a series of long distance adventures that included walking, kayaking and boating. At the age of 64, in 2010, Steve set the World Land Speed Record for the AA Blown Fuel Modified Sport class at 275.401 mile per hour. That is a record that still stands. Today, Steve and his wife Katherine are preparing for the 9,000 mile Peking to Paris car rally. He is an intense advocate of the motto: “If you’re not moving, you’re standing still.”

Dr. Andrew Feustel is a NASA Astronaut and Mission Specialist whose passion early in life to wrench on cars came full circle when he flew in to space on board the Space Shuttle Atlantis. He spent 13 days in space improving the Hubble Space Telescope’s observatory’s capabilities, removing frozen bolts, stripped screws, and stuck handrails. Then he flew on Space Shuttle Endeavour’s final mission to the International Space Station. Andrew served as the lead space walker on that trip delivering the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, a cosmic ray particle physics detector that examines fundamental issues about matter and the origin and structure of the universe. And a few stats for you; Drew is the 473 person to go in to space and he’s the 473 guest here on Cars Yeah!

Brian Redman participated in 358 races in his professional career. He haled from Great Britain and was victorious, outright or in his class, in 94 of those races. He finished in the top three 177 times. His tally of classic long-distance victories included the Targa Florio, Daytona 24 Hours (three times), Sebring 12 Hours twice, Nürburgring 1000Km twice, and at the Spa 1000Km four times. He won four long –distance road racing team championships and five individual road-racing championships, the list goes on and on and on. Skip Barber is the President and the sole owner of the world’s most beautiful and historically significant motorsports and automotive venues Lime Rock Park. He started racing in 1958 and he won his first race and held 32 track records around the country. He founded the Skip Barber Racing School in 1975 and built it in to a premier organization that launched many professional driver’s careers. Skip sold the school in 1999 and in 1983 he acquired Lime Rock Park with six other investors. Since buying them all out the track and facility has undergone massive improvements to keep this iconic track on course in to the future.

Todd Dakarmen owns L.A. Dismantler, your source for quality late model Porsche parts. He purchased his first Porsche at age sixteen and has taken apart more cars than most body shops. Craig Booth and his wife Pamela are automotive ceramic artists who put their talents to work creating sculptures of cars and the characters who drive them. His Car-Toons company is a platform for his studio and on line business where Craig views cars as unique machines with lives of their own. Their whimsical, beautiful works of art are often made-to-order and customized to match his automobiles, bikes, boats, and even the people who own them. The details are so precise in their pieces that they get down to automotive specifications and even their customer’s eye colors. I own some of Craig’s work and they are spectacular.

Bob Ingram is a General Partner at Hatteras Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in early stage life science companies. Prior to joining Hatteras he was CEO at Glaxo-Wellcome. His passion for automobiles has spanned his life and his success in business lead him to collecting car, more specifically Porsches. The Ingram collection is focused on preserving automotive history. He often drives, shows, and shares his cars and many are featured in the book Porsche Unexpected from Coachbuilt Press. It’s a wonderful collection of photos by Michael Furman in collaboration with Randy Leffingwell and Cameron Ingram. Cam is Bob’s son, a past Cars Yeah guest, who runs Road Scholars where they acquire, restore and sell vintage Porsches.

Paul Cain began his career at TRW Space and Defense as an industrial engineer before transitioning to TRW Automotive, working in program management in the early launch of automotive airbag crash sensors and airbag inflators. He was TRW's Director of Operations for TRW Steering and Suspension in Sydney, Australia before moving to BEI Duncan Electronics in 1999 as Director of Sales, Marketing and Program Management. He was also General Manager of Piher Sensors and Controls, North America. Paul is a committed volunteer during the Monterey car week. He serves as both the BMW CCA chief Concours judge for Legends of the Autobahn and as Co-Chairman for the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance Class Hosts. Paul has said many times: ‘Came to see the cars, returned to enjoy the friendships.’

Chad McQueen is a race car driver, actor, film producer, and consummate automotive enthusiast. He has raced in many forms of motorsports including Motocross, the Baja 1000, SCCA, Vintage events, and others. He’s a big fan of early Porsches and still owns and drives his father’s 1958 Speedster in the hills around Los Angeles. It was the first new car his father purchased. At The Times, he was responsible for assigning and editing articles that covered a broad array of topics, including new model reviews, technology, environmental issues, travel, and motorsports. Josh Lange studied Mechanical Engineering in college before transferring to Savannah College of Art and Design. There he had an opportunity to design and build the EXO Spider, which debuted at the Amelia Island Concours in 1999. Since then he’s worked on numerous automotive design and build projects including the Pangea one-off, a SEMA show car in 2003. Since then the Thomassima IIII project with Tom Meade, and a re-body of the Pangea have been on his plate. His LCIII Spider was built to showcase the evolution of his design after four years of working with the master Tom Meade of Modena, Italy, who was mentored by the maestro Medardo Fantuzzi.

Tommy Byrne has been a professional racer and operates a race driving and coaching service. Today Tommy runs Diablo Drift Driving Academy. It’s a mobile driving school for teens and adults where they teach advanced driving skills necessary to remain safe on the road. He designed the drift mechanism that can be taken to parking lots and tracks for teaching car control. In his racing career Tommy has five Formula 1 starts, tested for Marlboro McLaren Formula 1 Team, raced in Indy Lights, and he was the European FF 2000 Champion and British FF 2000 Champion. Allan Winn is the Director and CEO of the Brooklands Museum in Surrey, England. Brooklands is the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation.
