With a total of 40 years in the car care industry, Jason spent 20 years with Meguiar’s in their Professional Division before joining RUPES. RUPES is an Italian company with a 65-year history of designing and producing the finest in innovative machine tools and their reputation in the automotive surface care sector is world renown. RUPES recently built and opened a facility in Colorado as they continue to grow in the US marketplace. Jason is a top industry leader in surface care and correction, product development, and training. His history in car care goes back to detailing cars in high school and that business financed his college education. Today, one of his focuses is training for the RUPES BigFoot as its Car Detailing Academy Director.

Ralph Sheheen is the FOX Sports Play-by-Play Talent for Monster Energy Supercross and the Host Talent for FOX Sports coverage of Formula E.  He is the owner of Speed Sport, the oldest and most trusted brand name in American motorsports journalism. Speed Sport is 84 years old, having started in 1934 and used to be owned by the iconic Chris Economaki. He produces two magazines, Speed Sport and Sprint Car & Midget and they host the website SpeedSport.com. They produce over 30 National TV shows a year including the award-winning Suzuki Presents Speed Sports series for MAVTV. Ralph is a true automotive and motorcycle enthusiast, he is a racer, logging laps in everything from sports cars and Indy cars to karts and Thunder Roadsters. He has also competed in the Baja 1000 and took a second-place finish in Class 7, 4X4.

Mark Gessler is the President and Founder of the Historic Vehicle Association, known as the HVA, and the National Historic Vehicle Register, a public/private partnership with the U.S. Department of the Interior and Library of Congress. The HVA’s goal is to document and preserve America’s automotive heritage for the next 500 years. A former tech entrepreneur turned social entrepreneur, Mark is focused on preserving the global automotive heritage and he also serves as North American Ambassador, representative, and board member for FIVA since 2008. He is the founder of Scuderia SPORTS Zagato that has achieved two overall victories and seven podium finishes in the Mille Miglia since 2010. Mark is a frequent advisor, speaker, judge, competitor, and participant in historic automobile events including the Amelia Island Concours, Pebble Beach Concours, and many others.

Nick Skeens is a freelance journalist who lives on a barge that he helped build in Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex, UK. He is an author who started writing about creativity for the UK’s Design Council covering subjects ranging from design education to creative thinking. He is the co-author of Future Present, Creative Island, and Creative Island II, books that celebrated British design genius by focusing on the creative process. His latest book, The Perfect Car, by EVRO Publishing, is a biography of the incredible John Barnard, who revolutionized motorsport across the world. Barnard introduced aerospace technology to the sport and designed game-changing innovations such as the first use of the carbon-fiber monocoque chassis with McLaren, and the paddle-shifted, semi-automatic gearbox with Ferrari. Nick’s past includes time as a news editor and producer in television.

Eric Rood works for the 24 Hours of Lemons as a Media Stooge, BS Judge, and Special Projects' Puppet for this $500 endurance-racing series. Eric is a latecomer to the car hobby, having delved into the automotive world by helping to build a Lemons car in 2010. After racing Lemons a couple times, he started writing about cars in his spare time, focusing on cheap-car endurance racing and the oft-ignored world of obscure or forgotten Rust Belt junk. That grew into full-time, general automotive and motorsport freelancing work in 2016 with contributions to Roadkill, BangShift, and other outlets. Today, Eric enjoys spending his spare time in junkyards, watching motorsports, and wrenching on his own Lemons-grade project cars.

Julia Taylor-Stanley has a demonstrable track record in feature film financing, production, and distribution and she is one of the most well-respected film producers in the UK. Her most recent film, Ferrari: Race to Immortality is a groundbreaking motor racing documentary. It won the prestigious FOCAL Award for the best use of footage in a sports production. Julia began her career as a songwriter and record producer working with artists including Meatloaf, Roger Daltrey, and Diana Ross. She wrote her first novel Mystica as well. Ferrari: Race to Immortality is about racing in the 1950s and the dawn of the iconic Scuderia Ferrari in the Formula One World Championship, which was the deadliest decade in motor racing history. The film tells the story of the loves and losses, triumphs and tragedies of Ferrari’s most decorated drivers.

Michael Ledwitz is an automotive artist and aspiring TV Host. His professional career in automotive art started after he was in a near fatal car accident in 2005. He was forced to slow down from work in franchising in order to heal. His painting began as a hobby; a way to relax and reflect. Soon after, people started to notice Michael's talent and began requesting commissioned pieces of their own. Since then, Michael's accomplishments include silent auction pieces for Zoo Atlanta, commissioned paintings for Carroll Shelby's 85th birthday in Las Vegas, Shelby Licensee, and he was the featured artist for this year's Atlanta Concours 'd Elegance at Chateau Elan.  There is the inception of a TV show titled SPEEDWELL with Michael Ledwitz as well as developing the most amazing network of car enthusiasts; many of which are clients and all of which are now considered friends.

Theresa Gilpatrick is the Executive Director of the Ferrari Club of America. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, the heart of car culture. Always having the car bug, she collected Matchbox cars, built Revell models and anticipated her driver’s license far too early. After a post-college move, her association with Ferraris grew deeper and she acquired a 308 QV, a 330 2+2 two headlight, a Testarossa, a 250 Cabriolet Series II, among others. She earned a Masters degree in Non-profit Management in 1996 and has served in the non-profit sector for over 25 years. Her position with the Ferrari Club of America allows her to use her education, support the collector car hobby, and give back through a wonderful platform filled with Ferrari tifosi.

Brad Phillips is the National Relationship Manager and Brand Ambassador for Hagerty Insurance. Over his lifetime, he’s attempted to restore over 30 vehicles from the Nickel era through the 1990s. Brad’s a road trip fanatic, having been coast to coast and everywhere in between. He is a multi-year veteran of long-distance rallies and tours including the Great Race, and he’s the only person to attempt driving an Amphicar from Tennessee to Vermont. It didn’t go well. He’s in the middle of a two-year project restoring a 1965 Sunbeam Tiger. Brad’s been involved in the collector car insurance business since 2003 helping enthusiasts worldwide to protect their ‘fun stuff’. He is also a speaker, moderator, judge, a regular at The Concours d’Lemons and hosts an annual Amelia Island or Bust caravan.

Samuel Chuffart is the Vice President and Global Design Director for Icona Design Group in Torino, Italy. He was also one of the company’s founding members in 2010. In eight short years, Icona’s client list now reads like the Who’s Who of global and Chinese automakers. The company had a turnover of 18 million Euro in 2017. Samuel manages a team of 74 designers across three continents and dozens of projects simultaneously. Icona has created iconic and successful designs including the revered Fuselage, the Maxus SUB D90 concept, the Nucleus, and the Vulcano Titanium, the world’s first titanium supercar. Samuel is a graduate of Art Center College of Design in California and he’s worked at Nissan’s European design studio. He was also a Senior Designer at Jaguar Land Rover and Chief Designer at Stile Bertone in Turin, Italy.

Luca Venturi was the Director of Marketing and Communications and Brand Manager at PAGANI Automobili in Italy. PAGANI is an Italian manufacturer of extreme sports cars and carbon fiber components. Founded in 1992 by Horacio Pagani near Modena, Italy, the company creates some of the most incredible automobiles found today. Luca helped to focus on the company's international experience by providing a picture of PAGANI’s brand development known for passion, art, science, sensibility, charisma, and people. He helped build a global following of the PAGANI brand through fan experience and online assets and he oversaw the design and construction of the new PAGANI Museum and ideated the new Motor Valley Association that brings together local automotive manufacturers to promote tourism in the region. Today, Luca is working on many different projects as a consultant, writing books, supporting car manufacturers, and collaborating on a new project in California.

Paolo Garella is the Founder at Manifattura Automobili Torino, known as MAT. There he and his talented team have worked on numerous projects including cars for Scuderia Cameron Glickenhause and their racing program at the Nürburgring, they developed and manufactured Apollo Intensa Emozione prototypes and the restoration program of the Ferrari Modula by Pininfarina. His career includes time as a testing engineer at Goodyear International Technical Center and with PTI-Albatech in the Alba Group C Motor Racing division. He worked at Pininfarina for years on many projects including managing the Prototype Engineering and Manufacturing Department, the Jaguar X-Type Estate Project, and the Pininfarina Special Projects division. During his guidance, the company completed major one-off projects including the Ferrari P4/5 for James Glickenhaus, a past guest here on Cars Yeah, and the Ferrari 612 Kappa for Peter Kalikow and notable other prominent collectors.

Cesare Gasparri Zezza is an automotive enthusiast who is a descendant of the prominent entrepreneurial Florio family in Italy. Known for their businesses in fishing, banking, winemaking, and more, it was the family founder, Vincenzo Florio Sr., who in 1906 created the iconic Targa Florio, one of the oldest car races in the world covering 277 miles in Italy. Cesare worked as a journalist in television and later as the President of the Lazio Region and went on to become the Prime Minister of Health. He has always been passionate about anything with an engine; cars, motorcycles, boats, airplanes, helicopters, and racing. He is, of course, a fan of Italian marques including Lamborghini, Maserati, Horacio Pagani and Serio Marchionne. When he’s not in an Italian car you’ll find Cesare in a Mercedes AMG GT or aboard a boat in the Mediterranean Sea.

Chris Bock is the Chief Judge and a member of the Selection Committee for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. He’s served as Chief Judge since 2013 and he attended his first Pebble Beach Concours back in 1963 at the age of 18. Over the decades, he’s served as a Class Judge and numerous other roles helping make the Concours a success. Chris has been an entrant on five occasions – often showing Packards, a marque to which he is devoted. He has also served as President and National Head Judge of the Classic Car Club of America and as editor of The Cormorant for The Packard Club. This year, Chris put together a display of Eisenhower Era Dream Cars for Pebble Beach. Chris is a retired real estate broker and a foster parent.

Mark Lieberman is the President of Nostalgic Motoring Ltd. in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where he and his team deal in classic and collectible automobiles. Mark has several patents to his credit and in 1991, he purchased the first of 5 Tucker automobiles that he has owned. Mark is actively involved in restoration, preservation, and manufacturing parts for Tucker automobiles. He continues to serve the AACA Museum on their board of directors, the Tucker Automobile Club of America as their Technical Advisor, Historian, and Director of the Archives. This year, Mark will serve as a judge for the Tucker Class at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This is the first time a Tucker will be on the lawn at Pebble Beach and in fact, there will be 12 Tuckers on display in addition to the Tucker test chassis.

Elad Shraga was born in Israel and has been fascinated with all things mechanical since he was a child. While his career is in finance, his passion is cars and he began collecting at the age of 17, starting with motorcycles and then cars. His true love is light, small package Italian cars and in particular, the OSCA. He is bringing to the Pebble Beach Concours two of his OSCAs; a 1949 OSCA MT4 Siluro (Cigar), the second OSCA ever made, and the only Cigar body left in the world. The other is a 1952 MT4, a unique inside-grill headlight model with extensive West coast racing history. Both of these cars are featured on this year's Pebble Beach Retro-Auto poster this year. Elad is a fan of touring, including the Mille Miglia, Colorado Grand, the Leggenda di Bassano and of course, the Holyland 1000. With his partner, Amir Almagor, they were instrumental in putting on the Holyland 1000 Rally, and it is their way to give back to the hobby in a unique and diverse setting, which included 80 cars from 12 countries.

Cars Yeah guest and Chairman of the Pebble Beach Concours, Sandra Button, and her husband Martin, recently participated in the Holyland 1000 and drove one of Elad’s OSCAs on their incredible journey.

Thomas Plucinsky is the Head of BMW Group Product Communications for BMW of North America. Tom has been with BMW for 29 years in both Canada and the USA, spending time in product strategy, parts and service, and the motorcycle division prior to his current role. Tom leads a team that is responsible for product and technology communications with the media for BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, as well as Motorsport and Classic. He is the BMW North America historian and is responsible for the BMW USA Classic Collection which includes a range of vehicles that represent the 40 plus year history of BMW in North America. He is an avid automotive enthusiast who has been honing his driving skills in cars and motorcycles since he was old enough to drive and he is the only BMW North America employee checked out to drive all the classic race cars in the collection.

I was fortunate to meet Tom at the opening of the LeMay – America’s Car Museum, Heroes of Bavaria exhibit where he brought some of BMW Classic’s race cars to the museum, which are now on display through May 2019.

His Highness, Rana Manvendra Singh, belongs to the erstwhile royal family of Barwani in Madhya Pradesh, India. Keenly interested in automobiles from an early age, he successfully melded his passionate hobby with work, starting India’s first vintage and classic car restoration workshop in 1978. Today, he is a well-known and respected authority on vintage and classic cars in India. As such, he has been featured on numerous television programs and has written for many publications. He co-authored the book Automobiles of the Maharajas with Sharada Dwivedi. A founding member of the Vintage and Classic Car Club of India, Manvendra Singh serves as Curator for the Cartier Travel with Style Concours d’Elegance and has judged at many other car events including Pebble Beach for the past six years. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Historians and has represented India on the FIA International Historical Commission. He is also a Judge at the Peninsula Best of the Best Awards.

Colin Feichtmeir is on the Selection Committee and he is a Chief Class Judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Born and raised in Mountain View, California, Colin's father and uncle exposed him to antique cars from infancy. Together they had a collection of over 100 cars, half of which were pre-1925 American antiques and post-war sports cars. At the age of 19, Colin and his brother bought their first old car, a Model T chassis, restored into an authentic, period racer. Since then, his automotive interests pretty much border on unhealthy obsessions, ranging from everything pre-war (American and European) and post-war European sports cars up to 1965 (with a couple exceptions of course).

John Gardner is the host of two popular televisions shows on Velocity; Tech Garage and Motorhead Garage. John is an ASE master certified automotive technology instructor at Chipola College where his motto is “Outdo one another in showing honor”. He completed the General Motors ASEP, Associate of Science degree programs at Broward College and John worked for several years at General Motors as a lead technician. His communication skills and wide knowledge base led him to pursue a career in education completing further studies through Florida International University. His passion for the automotive trade has developed into training for much of the automotive industry.

Peter Wallman is a Consultant at Kidston SA Company located in Geneva, Switzerland. Kidston is a company that’s been in the automotive business for 30 plus years. Today, he works out of London as a consultant for the Kidston business in the United Kingdom. He has extensive knowledge of sports and racing cars from the 1950s and 60s. While in Milan, he consigned a fine selection of cars from the Laidlaw collection from Italy for the inaugural and record-breaking Automobiles of London Auction. One of his many career highlights was consigning the ex-Fangio 1956 Works Ferrari 290 MM to RM Sotheby’s New York Auction in 2015. Peter is also a dedicated enthusiast of classic Riva wooden boats. Some of his auto collection includes a 1961 Jaguar E-Type, a Ferrari 365 GT 2+2, and an original 1961 Riva Ariston.

Bruce McCallum is the owner of Epic-Exposure, a professional digital content creation business, where he is a photographer offering multi-faceted image creation focusing on action, adventure, and automobiles. His studio is 3,000 square feet plus a variety of mobile access platforms that allow for remote, difficult to reach, weather-impaired photo assignments. He shoots portraits to automobiles and offers an on-site large format printing service. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest Bruce has worked in the fishing industry, raced motorcycles, was a long-time Microsoft employee; however, it was his passion for photography and automobiles and people where he focuses his time and talents today.

Derek DeBoer is a race car driver who currently drives for the Racers Group in a Porsche, Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR/Evo. He’s an Ashland, Oregon native who grew up in a family where racing and the love of cars was the center of everyday life. His grandfather raced on dirt car circuits and his father ran a Top Alcohol dragster. In college, Derek was a pro-level wakeboarder and is today part of a start-up company designing and manufacturing wakeskates. He started his racing career 18 years ago at Laguna Seca in a Formula Dodge. He’s raced in the Formula Renault Open Wheel Series and the ST class of Grand Am. Derek has won at Le Mans, had a top 10 finish at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, ran multiple times at the 25 hours at Thunderhill, and competed in many IMSA Continental Tire Series races. He found a home racing in Aston Martins and Lamborghinis for The Racer’s Group and competed in the Pirelli World Challenge racing in both the GTS and Sprint X categories. His 2016 season included two wins at Road America and Utah Motorsports Campus and seven podium finishes at Laguna Seca, Circuit of the Americas, and Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Joe DiFiore is the owner of DiFiore’s Auto Detailing in Norwich, Connecticut. He’s been in business for over 30 years, is an IDA certified owner/operator and has cared for over 35,000 vehicles. What began as just another routine chore while growing up in Cleveland, turned in to a business when he was just 17 years old, and that was back in 1978. Ingo Schmoldt has been photographing fantastic subjects since he was a teenager. His longtime love affair with automobiles has focused his artistic energies on cars, the people who own them, and the events at which they appear. Shooting for various magazines, Ingo has covered some of the most iconic motor events in the world including the Monterey Car Week, Villa d’Este and the Goodwood Revival. He’s also a regular at motorsport events including the 25 Hours of Thunderhill where he’s able to document many phases of the human condition along with the racing itself. Linda Weldon Feldhorn is an automotive photographer who just launched her latest book Road Racing – Drivers of the 60's and 70's. It takes you on a journey with an incredible cast of talented drivers in American road racing via a 100 page,hardcover book. Back in those days, Linda was unique, being a female sports photographer. Her images brought a special humanity to a dangerous, male-dominated sport. A trip to Riverside International Raceway and a meeting with Sir Sterling Moss provided her access to the inner-world of racing, along with the people involved and that turned into many years of capturing racing images. Linda also worked in the entertainment industry as a set photographer for films, TV commercials, and television sports shows. She’s been a casting director, stylist, script supervisor, and even a stunt double. She’s a member of the Checkered Flag 200 Club, participates in rally events, and collects vintage cars alongside her husband, Bill Feldhorn.

He grew up in Capetown, South Africa where his father worked for Atlantic Refining Company and BP. Martin C. Klein is the Vice President and Global Head of Adient’s premium brand RECARO Automotive Seating in Germany. He leads the complete automotive branch of RECARO being responsible for their performance car seat business. Martin’s past includes time at Daimler-Benz in their M&A, their worldwide Special Trucks Operation and on strategic projects including turning the single-brand dealer network into a multi-brand organization after their merger with Chrysler. His final assignment for Daimler was serving as the Director of a Mercedes-Benz branch in Germany. After 25 years at Daimler, Martin joined a privately held German Investment Company. Melissa Paris is a professional motorcycle racer, an avid bicyclist, motocross and flat track enthusiast, and a self-described bad ass who started racing in 2005. She didn’t start riding until she was 20 years old. In 2009, Melissa was the first female to qualify for a World Supercup Race. In 2011, she was the only female to test a MotoGP M1 prototype racebike in the history of that series. In 2012, she raced in the British BSB Series at Brands Hatch. In 2013, Melissa was in the top ten to finish the Daytona 200. Then in 2014, she was fifth overall in the Spanish CEB Superstock Championship, and the first female team in history to compete in a Suzuka Endurance Race. In 2015, she took first place at the 24 Hours of Barcelona and won the WERA West Superbike Championship. In 2016, she was a member of the first all-girl team to qualify and compete at the Bol d’Or 24 Hours Additionally, in 2017, she founded the MP13 Racing Team to promote young talent and the first all-girl team to qualify and compete in the Lemans 24 Hour.

Aurora Straus is a race car driver who competes in the #36 Richard Mille BMW M4 in the Pirelli World Challenge and today, she’s leading in the Championship points with 6 races left in the season. She is currently the only female, teenage racecar driver competing professionally in North America.  Her racing started at 15 years old when she competed in the International Trophy Cup and Skip Barber Series, racing Porsche Caymans and Mazda MX-5s.  Along with a passion for racing, Aurora enjoys studying, singing, and playing the piano and guitar. Aurora has been accepted to Harvard University’s class of 2022 and plans to pursue degrees in both mechanical engineering and English literature.

Chuck was a driving instructor at the Jim Russell International Racing Drivers School and served as the President of the Ferrari Owners Club. He worked for Motor Trend and Road & Track magazines before becoming the founding editor of Cavallino. Year later he helped develop Rosso Ferrari for Ferrari North America as its editor and designer. Chad McQueen is a race car driver, actor, film producer, and consummate automotive enthusiast. He has raced in many forms of motorsports including Motocross, the Baja 1000, SCCA, Vintage events, and many other venues. He’s a big fan of early Porsches and still owns and drives his father’s 1958 Speedster in the hills around Los Angeles. Chad was a producer on a feature documentary titled Steve McQueen, The Man & Le Mans. It’s the story of a life changing passion for racing and his father’s involvement in the making of the iconic 1970 movie Le Mans. Ben Erickson is an automotive author, restoration consultant, concours judge, and has authored books about French cars with past Cars Yeah guest Peter Larsen. In addition to being a connoisseur of the grand French classics, he is a Maseratisti fan having owned a number of them. Ben has a special interest in all things Iso as well as Swedish and American cars from the challenging years in the 1970s and 1980s when, as Ben says, “They did the best with what they had”. Although originally from Minnesota and brief stays in Finland, his time is split between Denmark and Thailand. As a linguist and fluent in five languages including Finnish, Ben also owns a translation company. He moved to Inkom, Idaho and built a home and studio on the side of a mountain. David’s been a gear-head his entire life and has a passion for riding motorcycles. He paints a variety of genre from hot rods to race cars, farmers and their equipment, and the iconic Indy 500. David has 7 children, 21 grandchildren, and he, along with his wife of 40 years, do volunteer work in Uganda and Ghana Africa along with volunteer work in Idaho.

Lehman Keen is an American race car driver who was born and lives in Georgia. Know as Leh by his friends and fans, he has competed in the United SportsCar Championship and drove for teams including Alex Job Racing, Brumos Racing, Dempsey Racing, and Ferbacher Loles Racing driving Porsche GT3, Ferrari 458, and Mazda RX-8 FT cars. His newest venture is the Keen Project, a company he started in 2013 where they build turnkey modified Porsche 911s built in a theme and design that Leh has developed. One is the Safari style Porsche, a car that is inspired by late 70s East African and Paris/Dakar race cars, but his is a daily driver street car you can take to the track or off road. Julian Avent owns Werks 11, a Porsche service shop in Temple, Texas. There he does OEM restorations and mechanical servicing with his team who are all Porsche specialists. He served in the Army for 20 years and all that while Julian knew he would open his own Porsche shop when he retired from the service. While he was in the Army he apprenticed in two Porsche shops, one in Belgium and the other in the Netherlands. He purchased his first Porsche, a 914, when he was just 16 years old and cut his mechanical teeth doing all the repairs and service on that car. Since then he’s owned over 30 Porsches ranging from 356s to 997s and he’s worked on the marque for more than 25 years now.

He is also a huge fan of classic muscle cars and has a Hemi Cuda, Hemi Charger, Roadrunners, a Ford Boss 9, and a Shelby Mustang to name a few. Matt Anderson is theMatt Anderson is the John and Horace Dodge Curator of Transportation at The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan. He oversees the development, care and interpretation of the museum’s collection of nearly 300 motor vehicles. Matt also oversees the museum’s collection of horse-drawn carriages, railroad locomotives and rolling stock, as well as aircraft. Matt will take office as president of the National Association of Automobile Museums later this year. He has previously worked at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland; the Studebaker National Museum in South Bend, Indiana; and the Minnesota Historical Society in St. Paul, Minnesota. Matt is a VIP judge at the Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance.
