Doug Tabbutt is the Founder of Switchcars, a Cleveland-based sports car dealership and specialty Porsche consulting and brokerage service. He sources automobiles from private collectors, customers, and dealers, never from wholesale auctions. His focus is a verifiable history and condition report so that you can purchase with confidence. Doug is also an authorized dealer for Trailex aluminum sports car trailers. Along with his co-driver Arne Toman, Doug recently broke the New York to Los Angeles Cannonball Run record. Rod Newlove is the President of Automotive Parts Distributors/APD with 4 locations in western Canada. It is a company that’s been in business since 1981. Rony Karam is the FIVA Ambassador for the Middle East and the FIVA Representative to UNESCO. He has been a member of the FIVA Culture Commission for more than 12 years. Founded in 1966 FIVA is the worldwide federative association of historic automobile clubs, be they for veteran, vintage, pre-war or post-war classic automobiles, including motorcycles and trucks that are at least 30 years old. FIVA’s goals are to protect and promote world motoring heritage. Rony is a car collector and has judged in many Concours events including Dubai, Kuwait International Concours d’Elegance, Qatar International Concours, and Chantilly France Concours Arts et Elegance. He has contributed to the elaboration of the TURIN CHARTER in the FIVA Culture Commission as well and has organized classic vehicle events.

Patrick Rollet is the Past President of FIVA. Founded in 1966 FIVA is the worldwide federative association of historic automobile clubs, be they for veteran, vintage, pre-war or post-war classic automobiles, including motorcycles and trucks that are at least 30 years old. Fiva’s goals are to protect and promote world motoring heritage. Patrick will be a distinguished judge at this year’s UAE Concours in Dubai. His career spans decades and includes consulting and marketing. He has been involved in the automotive world since working at the Paris Motor Show in 1965 on the Aston-Martin stand and he is a member of numerous automotive clubs and organizations. Patrick has been involved with FIVA since 2005 and has authored several books and many articles in HV press and Club magazines. In 2019 he was honored by the Chevalier de l’ordre des Arts and des Letters in France.

Mohammed Luqman, a.k.a. Vintage Khan, is the curator of the UAE Concours d’Elegance. He is a Hyderabad-born (Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's Telangana state)  UAE-based Retromobilist and Channel Head and Lead Anchor of Hyderabad’s first 24/7 English News channel, HY TV. He has produced numerous TV programs including the interview show Straight-Talk and the 60 Minutes With series. He is the Founder and CEO of ML Consulting, a marketing firm. As a motoring enthusiast, Mohammed has spent over three decades tracking, chronicling, and researching veteran, Edwardian, vintage, and classic cars. He has authored books including Automobiles of the Nizams, Automobiles of Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Zayed’s Rolls-Royce, Toll-Royce in Arabia, and The Noble Napier 823. A businessman by profession and a Retromoblist by passion, Mohammed has experienced an eventful journey from a spectator to a curator.

Vinita Khilnani is a regular host of Morning Octane, a premiere LA Cars and Coffee quarterly event. She currently holds the title as 2018 Miss India North America and uses her platform to encourage other diverse individuals to pursue their dreams. Born and raised in South Pasadena, California, from a young age, Vinita loved family parties, because it provided her the opportunity to sing and host her own version of Jeopardy.  After completing her education, where she earned an M.S. in Biology and Masters in Public Health, she decided to dedicate her life to the arts.  After signing a record deal and touring as a pop-singer, Vinita fell in love with Improvisational Comedy while studying at the Groundlings, earning the Groundlings Diversity Scholarship. She has written and performed on two all-female sketch teams, Stiletto Sketch and Butter and she is currently in production of a re-imagined version of The Jungle Book.

Mario Peserico is the CEO and Managing Director of Eberhard & Co. Italia, a company he has been with since 1993. Eberhard & Co. is the official timer and partner of the Gran Premio Nuvolari, an event that takes place each September in Italy. The event is designed as a tribute to Tazio Nuvolari by the organizers of the Mille Miglia and is an international rally reserved for historic motorcars. Eberhard & Co has a thirty-year relationship with Tazio Nuvolari, one of the greatest racers of all time, and with the Nuvolari Grand Prix. Eberhard & Co is a Swiss watchmaking house, founded in 1887, with over 130 years of history representing excellence and innovation. Mario is also the President of Assorologi, the Italian association representing watch manufacturers and importers and watch-making suppliers.

Jamie Bopp is the Founder of Dundon Motorsports in Gig Harbor, Washington. The company was born from three automotive enthusiasts' passion to provide the very best in service, parts, and performance. He and his team work on Porsche automobiles providing general maintenance, engine building, transmissions, suspension tuning, and dyno services. His past includes working in process engineering and engineering management in the semiconductor industry and he started his own semiconductor company in 2003. His car ownership spans from Toyotas, Hondas, BMWs and of course Porsche including a 2019 GT3RS.

Mariana Small is the Co-Founder and COO of Accelerating Change and the President of the Porsche Club of America, Los Angeles region. Accelerating Change creates opportunities for women to develop skills in the automotive world, from track days to educational events and networking. In the past, she was Vice President of Marketing Operations and Branding at Confie [pronounced con-fee], where she set the strategic direction of marketing and branding initiatives. Mariana earned her B.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany and her M.B.A. in Foreign Commerce and Exchange from Getulio Vargas Foundation in Brazil. She holds Certifications in Strategic IQ and Strategic Marketing Management from Harvard Business School and is a certified Private International Arbitrator. She speaks five languages, has lived in 8 countries (all continents except Antarctica) and has traveled to 61 countries. Fun fact: Mariana has also seen all 7 wonders of the world!

Grant Delgatty is the Associate Professor and Chair of Product Design at Iovine and Young Academy at the University of Southern California. A significant portion of Grant's career has been in athletic footwear, where he has led design teams for a number of successful shoe companies. In 2013, Grant founded the company URB-E where he invented a super-compact folding e-vehicle designed as a 'last mile' transportation solution for urban commuters. Over 6,000 URB-Es have been sold and shipped to more than 40 countries worldwide. From 2007 to 2018, he taught at ArtCenter, his alma mater.  Grant holds several utility and design patents has won many awards for his designs, has been published extensively, and was included on the list of Southern California entrepreneurs to watch for 2015.

Tyler Schilling is the Founder of Sicktoiz, a company that designs and builds items that he would like to have but nobody was making. Sicktoiz offers unique hand made designers that are carefully designed and finely crafted from automotive parts to display objects and the most amazing door hardware you’ll ever see.  At a young age, Tyler got a job with a Can-Am series Crew Chief and historic racecar restorer. He worked on cars including Jackie Stewart’s T260 Lola, Peter Revson’s M8F McLaren and he also worked as a mechanic on Bobby Brown’s Lola 332. His fascination with creating things lead him to a career in robotics and the ocean. In 1985 he started Schilling Robotics along with Wes Gerriets. For 34 years they build a global franchise including a 98% market share in underwater robot arms. The company was acquired in 2012.

Steve Huff owns Steve Huff Motorsports in SeaTac, Washington. He is a 30 plus year racing veteran with over 20 years as a professional racer under his belt. Steve’s earned 15 national and world records in speed and he is a self-taught builder and racer who built custom bikes and cars that have won awards and set speed records. Today, he continues his quest for speed with ‘Current Technology’ his electric dragster and the brainchild of e-Spec Racecars, a division of his Huff Motorsports. Mixed with all of this, Steve has also been working on the concept for an education-based TV show titled Speed Geeks – The Science of Speed.

Uli Perez is the International Franchise Manager and Operations Quality Control Manager at K1 Speed, where he’s been for over 15 years. Founded in 2003, K1 Speed has grown to become the premier worldwide karting company. With kart racing locations around the globe and in the U.S., K1 brings the thrill and excitement of indoor karting to a wide range of enthusiasts. Their facilities include a Paddock Lounge, meeting rooms, pool tables, and is the perfect place to host corporate events, parties, or just have fun with friends. Uli has a passion for all things automotive and has spent time behind the wheel in karts and race cars including Legends, Bandoleros, Spec Trucks, and Sportsman Class.

Ruth Fruehauf is the Founder of the Fruehauf Trailer Historical Society, an organization dedicated to the preservation of the history of the Fruehauf Trailer Company and the Fruehauf family legacy. She had a successful career in the business of fine art commerce and is the youngest daughter of Roy and Ruth Fruehauf. The family history became her passion and after looking through her father’s business papers, and learning more about her father, whom she lost at age 8, has led her on a book project about the company, her grandfather and father. Tabetha Hammer is the Senior Manager of Car Culture for Hagerty, where she focuses on youth, education, and heritage. These initiatives include the RPM (Reservation Preservation Mentorship) Foundation to support the preservation of the skills and trades necessary for automotive and marine restoration; the Historic Vehicle Association to bring national recognition to our automotive heritage; and Hagerty’s Youth Programs, which breaks down barriers between young people and fun cars to put them behind the wheel. A graduate from McPherson College with a degree in Automotive Restoration Technology and Communications she is active in the car community, serving on the Board of Directors for America’s Automotive Trust and RPM Foundation and previously with the Antique Automobile Club of America. She’s also judged at numerous Concours events.

Mitchell Proner is recognized as one of the most talented and experienced trial advocates in the country. He has represented clients in over 30 jurisdictions across five continents. He has lectured to Bar Associations and attorney groups in the U.S., Canada, and Europe on how to represent accident victims. Mitchell has appeared as a legal analyst on numerous news broadcasts including CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, WPIX, and news channels on European television, and South American networks and radio, including the BBC and RAI International. Mitchell has been a passionate motorcycle rider for over 25 years and rides a 2018 Harley-Davidson Road Glide and a 1993 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail.

Bryan Goffe is the founder and creative director of Garage Asylum, a company he started in 2012. His first career is in the Floor Covering Industry in the Pacific NW. Bryan combined his history of participating in car shows, a love for motorsports, his skills in shooting automotive photography, and a passion for cross-promoting friends and racing through social media with Garage Asylum. Mark Frohnmayer is the Founder of Arcimoto, an electric vehicle company that he started in 2007. He has led the Arcimoto team through eight generations of prototype vehicles and a Nasdaq-listed Regulation A IPO, to a public electric vehicle manufacturing company. Mark’s goal was to bring an affordable, ultra-efficient, useful new vehicle into the marketplace. This year, Arcimoto began delivery of its first retail product to customers on the West Coast, and it’s called the Fun Utility Vehicle. Mark is a UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has served on the Oregon Transportation Commission and as a Technical Advisory Member of the Oregon Innovation Council. 

Sergio Fernandez is the Chief Judge at the Cigar City Concours d’Elegance. He is the owner of Vette Works Inc., the record setting shop responsible for producing the highest selling 1967 L-88 corvette coupe to date that sold at the 2014 Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona for $3,850,000.00. Sergio is one of the founding fathers of the Metro Long Island Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society, the NCRS, and he is the Master Level Judge for that group. He owns two factory-documented 1966 COPO Corvettes both Duntov Certified award winners and MCACN Gold Spinner award winners. 

Lilly Pray is a judge at the second annual Cigar City Concours d’Elegance. She has been a classic car judge for 17 years at numerous Concours events including Radnor Hunt, Greenwich, The Elegance at Hershey, Boca Raton, Atlanta, Rocky Mountain, and Hilton Head Motoring Festival. Her love and passion for cars began at an early age with her father Malcolm, a noted collector from Greenwich, Connecticut. Lilly is a Registered Nurse specializing in Neurology, Orthopedics, and Emergency medicine. Before working in the hospital she worked in emergency pre-hospital care as a Firefighter and Paramedic. She is on the board of the Russell Maguire Foundation and is keeping her father's legacy alive at the Malcolm Pray Achievement Center. The Center (MPAC) inspires visitors towards success through the automobile collection and the entrepreneurial story of Malcolm Pray who developed guidelines for young men and women to strive and develop their unique ideas, and to help them gain greater independence and motivation towards personal success. Her rally experience is quite extensive as well.

Michael Thompson is the Field Coordinator at this year’s Cigar City Concours d’Elegance taking place in Tampa, Florida. His passion for all things mechanical covers everything from steam trains to supercars.  In his formative years, he developed a strong affinity for vintage Fords, especially anything with a Flathead V8. Mike spent much of his career with the Ford Motor Company at the dealership level in parts and service. He is very active in the car hobby and today operates a workshop where he helps hobbyists that need specialized mechanical work on Flathead Ford engines, transmissions, and rear axle refurbishment. 

Joe Pep is an automotive commission artist, a graphic designer, and illustrator whose work has been featured in Hemmings Classic Car, their Daily Blogs, and in Muscle Machine magazines. Joe’s art has been exhibited at the AACA Museum in Hershey and the Elegance at Hershey. For over 20 years he created comic books and graphic novels including the iconic Archie Comics. Since his last appearance on Cars Yeah Joe launched Every Car Has a Story where he interviews numerous automotive enthusiasts and I was honored to be a guest on his show! Joe will be the Master of Ceremonies at this year’s Cigar City Concours d’Elegance.

Vic Piano is the Founder of the Cigar City Concours d’Elegance, now in its second year. His life has been all things automotive that started with his launch of an automotive publication titled Part Finder, back in 1975. In 1980, he produced, directed, and syndicated the International Show Car Association for television. That same year, he also produced and syndicated the Watkins Glenn Grand Prix and in 1981, the Long Beach Grand Prix. Vic went on to produce SCORE Off-Road World Championships and numerous NASCAR events including the Charlotte 600. He founded many antique automobile clubs, tours, driving events and more. This year’s Cigar City Concours d’Elegance will be held at their new venue, Tamp Bay Downs Horseracing Track.

Josh Stahl is President and CEO of Reviva, a Minnesota based engine remanufacturer. Reviva is a lean focused manufacturer and remanufacturer of industrial equipment and engines. The company has three engine plants where they remanufacture gas and diesel engines ranging in size from .5L to 20L.  Reviva now offers a line of high-performance LS engines and they partner in a large envelope machine shop that supports the defense and oil and gas industries.

Prior to joining Reviva, Josh was a coxswain in the U.S. Coast Guard. Josh’s hobbies include racing in triathlons and other endurance events and he enjoys driving boats, cars, and motorcycles. 

Paul Rivera is the recently appointed CEO of Electra Meccanica, a designer, and manufacturer of electric vehicles. He is currently overseeing the production and launch of the company’s innovative electric, single-passenger SOLO vehicle designed to revolutionize the way people commute. Before joining Electra Meccanica, Paul most recently served as President of Ricardo USA, a 100-year-old global engineering, strategic, and environmental consultancy business focused on designing, engineering, and testing vehicle systems, as well as the niche manufacturer of high-performance products. He has more than two decades of experience in the automotive, transportation and energy sectors.

Geoff Goddard has been the Sporting Director at the Nysna Simola Hillclimb at as a volunteer since 2008. He studied Automotive Technology at Reading College in the UK then working for Ford and later at THATCHAM Crash Test Research Centre. Geoff raced Stock Cars in the UK and won the English and World Superstox Championships in 1969, 1971, and 1972. He emigrated to South Africa in 1974 and ran his own repair and tuning shop, and later as a Test Engineer on military vehicles. He worked at BMW Group as a Test and Development Engineer and he managed their Test Operations. Geoff was a BMW SA works driver in Group N and Touring cars and was the Team Manager as well. Listeners will remember Geoff’s son Kai was a past guest here on Cars Yeah. 

Linda Nunes is the Crew Chief for Chris Nunes, her teenage son’s off-road racing Team. Regular Cars Yeah listeners will remember Chris Nune’s show earlier this year. Chris races Pro Buggy in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Nationals and most know him as the California Kid. Linda is in charge of marketing, PR, Spotting, Hot Pits, Travel, and she is the team’s Strategist responsible for developing and building the most competitive car at the lowest possible price. Linda has also raced a dirt bike and won first place at Barona Oaks, their local track and she raced a UTV at Lucas Oil Off-Road. Linda won first place two years in a row in their powder puff event. Her past includes regionally competitive figure skating, a National Water Ski Championship, and a world-record Barefoot Jumping competition and she waterskied professionally at Sea World.

Joel Carash has been a trial attorney for over 50 years and when he’s not in the courtroom, he’s on the road in his 1927 Bentley 3 Liter that he acquired over 22 years ago. He’s put over 40,000 miles on that special car of which over 26,000 miles have been in rallies and tours all over the world. I had the honor of spending a day with Joel in his car during the La Jolla Concours Tour last spring and what a special day that was for me. Joel was the Bentley Driver’s Club Chairman, Golden Gate Region and has toured in his 3 Litre Bentley in Switzerland, South Africa, New Zealand, Austria, Italy, France, England Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Canada, and Western USA. His car has also been on the lawn of many Concours events including the La Jolla Concours and Ironstone Concours d’Elegance. On his 16^th birthday, Joel got his student pilot’s certificate and then his driver’s license telling you a bit about his passion for speed.

Caroline Cassini grew up in the collector car world. She is a lifelong car enthusiast and has been participating in car events with her parents since the age of 3 and attended her first Pebble Beach Concours at the age of 4. Caroline was the Co-Founder and Vice President of the Edison Concours d’Elegance. She has judged at numerous Concours events worldwide, including the Zoute Concours d’Elegance in Belgium. Caroline is an avid researcher and is highly knowledgeable in both sales and restoration of classic cars. Caroline is the first woman to graduate from the Academy of Art University’s Automotive Restoration program. Caroline currently works for Fantasy Junction, a prominent classic car dealer right outside of San Francisco. 

Dave Phillips is one of the world’s best-known Land Rover writers and is a former editor of both Land Rover Owner International and Land Rover Monthly, the best-selling magazines on the subject. He is also the co-author of the Off-Road Driving Manual (Haynes). His newest book is titled The Land Rover Story and is published by our friends at EVRO Publishing in England. Dave grew up in rural West Norfolk, near England’s east coast, in an era when every other vehicle on the country lanes was a hard-working Land Rover and has since driven these vehicles in most parts of the globe, including across deserts, up mountains and through tropical forests. These days he lives in Northamptonshire’s Nene valley, in England’s east midlands, which he enjoys exploring in his 1984 Ninety and 1996 Discovery.

Serge Vanbockryck started his career in the late 1980s as a journalist and photographer, reporting on endurance racing for European newspapers and magazines. In the mid-1990s he left journalism for public relations and marketing, working in Formula 1, the World Rally Championship, and at Le Mans with brands including Marlboro, Lucky Strike, and Toyota. Since 2000 Serge has been a European PR coordinator for GM’s Cadillac LMP, Corvette GT, and Chevrolet WTCC programs. He is a regular contributor to British monthly magazine Racecar Engineering and German monthly Sport Auto, and he is the co-author of the official Porsche Rennsport Reunion programs. Terry joined Hemmings in 2011 as an editor and contributed to their three magazines: Hemmings Motor News, Hemmings Classic Car, and Hemmings Muscle Machine along with providing digital content for Hemmings.com. Chuck Moreland is the Founder and CEO of Elephant Racing, a company he started in 2002. Elephant Racing is the leading manufacturer of suspension products for the Porsche aftermarket. Under Chuck’s leadership, the company has successfully developed and marketing innovative products that are commercial successes worldwide. In 2018 he founded Vonnen, a company focused on a hybrid aftermarket performance system for Porsche models. Vonnen’s system fits an electric motor between the engine and transmission on stock 991 generation Carrera Prototypes that adds power and torque. Plans are in place to offer this system on older Porsche models as well.

David Grainger is the Founder of The Guild of Automotive Restorers, a company he and his wife Janice established in 1991. His shop is a world-renowned facility that repairs, restores, and sells classic and antique cars. They do mechanical work, bodywork, paint, upholstery, fabrications, transportation, and storage. David is the host of a successful worldwide broadcasted television series Restoration Garage, now in its sixth season. Located in the town of Bradford, about 45 minutes north of Toronto, Canada, The Guild of Automotive Restorers is open to the public with a fantastic showroom, a fun store, workshops, and talented craftsmen who work on and restore some of the finest automobiles in the world. 

Ed Welburn is the former General Motors VP of Global Design and was responsible for the design of all GM vehicles worldwide from 2003 to 2016, the same position once held by Harley Earl and Bill Mitchell.  He was only the sixth person to have led GM Design in the company’s history. He was involved in the design of over 540 cars and trucks for GM. Ed was inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame, received the Eyes On Design Lifetime Achievement Award, and is the only car designer to have his archives placed in the Smithsonian Museum. A wing of the Detroit Institute Of Arts has been named in his honor, and he received an Honorary Doctorate Of Fine Arts from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.  Ed is an active board member of Tony Bennett’s foundation, Exploring The Arts and a judge at Concours events including Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, Hilton Head, Suzuka Japan, and Radnor Hunt. In this new chapter in Ed’s life, he is CEO of Welburn Media and is an Executive Producer of an exciting movie project.

Martin Pagh Ludvigsen is the Director of Creative Technology at MullenLowe, a Los Angeles advertising agency where he works primarily on their Acura account. During his tenure, Martin has directed a series of increasingly innovative, award-winning technology-driven experiences for Acura. One example was “What a Race” the launch of the 2018 Acura TLX, where a custom augmented reality-helmet was created and the race reached more than 3 million people. He’s created unique and innovative campaigns for Acura’s RDX, ILX, and others that stretched well beyond the norm. A graduate of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark Martin has used his degree in Computer Science, Digital Communications, and Theatre to apply his curiosity and perspective on global brands including Coca-Cola, GE, Google Play, Etihad Airways, H&M, Volvo, McDonald’s, Nike, Toyota, Acura, and others.

I had the pleasure of meeting Martin during Pebble Beach Car Week at the Acura Type S Concept Reveal.

Eddie Alterman is the Chief Brand Officer for Hearst Autos. He develops new areas of business for Hearst Autos’ consumer brands, Car and Driver and Road & Track. Previously Eddie served as Editor-in-Chief of Car and Driver, the world’s largest car magazine brand. While at the University of Michigan, Eddie began writing for Automobile Magazine, and stayed there for 13 years, rising to senior editor. He later founded MPH magazine; contributed to Men’s Journal, GQ, the New York Times, and New York Magazine; and launched motivemag.com, an automotive-lifestyle website. Widely regarded as the nation’s top automotive editor, Eddie was named 38^th Most Important Person in the Automotive Industry by Complex Magazine. In 2005, he was named one of Crain’s Detroit Business “40 Under 40.”

Seth Burgett is the Chairman and CEO of Gateway Bronco, a company where they restore and build the finest vintage Ford Broncos available. At Gateway Bronco he and his team build the way Henry Ford envisioned, on an assembly line. This enables them to offer an up to 5-year warranty, and deliveries as short as 2 months. They supply the donor Bronco or build using your truck. 100% of the work is done in-house in a 60,000 square foot "Bronco Factory". Seth is a seasoned entrepreneur, global executive, and board member. He is an inventor with over 40 patents pending or granted. He has created medical device robots, consumer products, and technology companies. He’s been involved in numerous successful startups and sales of companies. He is a frequent speaker at the Olin School of Business and an executive mentor. Seth is progressing toward becoming a licensed vintage racer with venues in his target including Goodwood and the Monterey Historic races.

Constance Smith works for the Dealertrack Division of COX Automotive where they design software used by thousands of automotive dealers. She has worked in the automotive industry for over 40 years graduating from Pratt Institute with a Masters in Industrial Design. She worked under Bill Mitchell at General Motors and was the first woman in the Advanced Concepts Group. After leaving GM she taught in the Pratt Grad schools at the University of Bridgeport and earned an NEA Award and Grant. Constance is the recipient of several GM Mark of Excellence Awards and both the Chrysler Gold and Silver Awards. She has authored an award-winning book titled: Damsels in Design; Women Pioneers In The Auto Industry and Constance will be at the Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance signing her book. Constance is an AACA National Judge and volunteers at Vision Honored and the Eyes on Design charities.

Dr. Paul Sable is an automotive historian, an author, a fervent collector of hybrid cars of the1950s who claims he’s on his LAST restoration, a 1955 Debonaire. He is the Co-Founder of the Concours of the Eastern United States and more recently a Founder of The Elegance at Hershey. He is an advisor to numerous Concours and has judged at most every well-known Concours around the country including Pebble Beach for 17 years. He has served as an advisor to a number of individuals for their collections and authored writings for Automobile quarterly, Automotive History Review and a number of automotive magazines. Paul is on the advising panels of a number of antique car price guides including NADA and Cars That Matter. He will be the honorary Chief Judge at the inaugural Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance taking place October 25-28.

Ed Gilbertson is the Chairman of the International Chief Judge Advisory Group (ICJAG), a new group he formed since his last visit here on Cars Yeah in 2015. Ed is also the President of the Jury – Salon Prive’ Concour d’Elegance, a role that pulled him out of retirement to handle all the judging at this event that is held at the Blenheim Palace in the UK. Ed has been active in the car hobby for over 45 years. He is the Chief Judge Emeritus for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and continues to serve as a senior member of the Pebble Beach Selection Committee. He is also the Chief Judge Emeritus for the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic and the Ferrari Club of America. In addition, he was Chief Judge for the Legend of the Motorcycle International Concours and multiple shows across the country. Ed is Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the International Advisory Council for the Preservation of the Ferrari Automobile and contributing Editor for Cavallino magazine and other publications plus he’s co-authored a book on the Ferrari 250 GT Spyder California. 

DR Rawson is the President of the Las Vegas Cadillac Club and the General Manager of the inaugural Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance that will be held October 25 through the 28 at the beautiful Dragon Ridge Country Club in Henderson, Nevada. DR has always been a car guy and at 20 years old he sold Rolls Royces and Jaguars while working his way through the Air Force. His first sports car was a 1967 Jag E Type and a 1956 Porsche 356A he raced in the mid-sixties. He switched from Mercedes to Cadillac in 1994 when he proposed to his wife, as she was a Controller for Coast Cadillac in Long Beach, California.

Stuart Sobek is the Founder and Chairman of the Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance. This inaugural event will debut on October 25 through the 28 at the exclusive Dragon Ridge Country Club. Stuart has been in the car collector world for more than 31 years. Fueled by his first visit to Pebble Beach in 1987, he has been collecting and showing cars ever since. His passion began and still remains in exotic cars. Being a long-time member of many car clubs, including the Lamborghini and Maserati Clubs, enabled him to learn and increase his knowledge and passion for these unique automobiles. As a collector, he has personally owned and logged many miles behind the wheel of some fantastic rides, both on the street and the track. Stuart is a member of the CCCA and Checkered Flag Lifetime Member of the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, California. Today he returns to Cars Yeah after a visit here last February to update us on this new Concours event.

Bill Rothermel will serve as the Master of Ceremonies at the inaugural Chattanooga Motorcar Festival and the Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of the AACA Museum, Inc., and The Elegance, both in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the Master of Ceremonies of numerous events including the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance, The Elegance, the Concours of America, the Radnor Concours d’Elegance, the St. Michaels Concours d’Elegance, The Hemmings Concours, Eurofest, Greenville-Spartanburg, and the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival. Bill also serves as a judge at numerous Concours events around the country and he is a freelance writer and his works have been featured in national and international publications and auction catalogs.

Mark Gillies is the title sponsor at the Inaugural Chattanooga Motorcar Festival taking place October 11 – 12 at the Westin Hotel and Chattanooga’s West Village. He is a lifelong automotive enthusiast whose career as a journalist included editing Supercar Classics and CAR magazines in the UK before arriving in the States in 1995. He became Executive Editor of Automobile and Car and Driver magazines. Eight years ago he moved into PR at Volkswagen and he is currently head of product communications for the North American region. Mike Tilson is the Chief Judge at the Inaugural Chattanooga Motorcar Festival taking place October 11 – 12 at the Westin Hotel and Chattanooga’s West Village.  He is also the Founder and Chairman of the Radnor Hunt Concours d' Elegance, now in its 23rd year. He is Chief Judge at the Carmel Concours on the Avenue and as a member of the International Chief Judges Advisory Group ( ICJAG ). Mike judges at many major Concours events in the US, Canada, and Europe. He is a former race car driver in the World Endurance Championship, SCCA, and IMSA. Mike competed at Sebring 12 hours, Daytona 24 Hours, and Watkins Glen 6 Hours, as well as racing in Mexico and Canada with many notable co-drivers, such as Innes Ireland, Elliott Forbes-Robinson, Bruce Jennings and Al Holbert. He competed in the Mille Miglia on the BMW team in a BMW 507. For over forty years Mike owned a sales, service and restoration shop specializing in high-performance European automobiles.

Dorsey Schroeder is the Competition Director for the Chattanooga MotorCar Festival’s Time Trials. He is currently the Competition Director for the HSR and Trans-Am Chief Steward and since 2015, has served as Race Director for the World Challenge Series. As a member of the SCCA Hall of Fame, Dorsey’s career as a racecar driver has earned him 40 professional races in 242 starts including 17 Trans-Am Series wins. In 1971 at the age of 18, he became the first person under the age of 21 to be issued an SCCA National Competition License. He won numerous championships throughout the 90s and in recent years competed in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races at Daytona and Sebring in the Prototype class. He has served as a color analyst for Fox Sports 1 and was a color analyst for the Speed Channel.

Jim Pace is the Co-Founder of the Chattanooga MotorCar Festival, an inaugural event that joins Byron Defoor’s 50 Plus Racing Foundation in bringing this fundraising event to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jim is a professional racecar driver who has competed since 1987. He’s earned wins as the Overall Winner and GT Winner in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, and at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Jim’s a sports car Series Champion in the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) GTU class. He is recognized as a top driver having raced formula, Prototype, GT, and vintage cars around the world including Spa in Belgium and Germany’s Nurburgring circuits. He is also a driving instructor, racing coach, and adventure consultant. As a principal in Historic Sportscar Racing since 2015 Jim has been a Race Advisor for the Classic 24 at Daytona and Classic 12 at Sebring. 

Rob Fisher has spent a lifetime devoted to machines that turn fuel into noise and he loves anything with four wheels, two wheels, or a propeller.  Rob is currently the CEO of the up and coming San Francisco Auto Museum located in the heart of the City by the Bay. Prior to finding his dream job with the museum, Rob spent over 30 years leading global sales organizations at 6 different start-ups in Silicon Valley, which took him and his family to London for 6 years. He spends his free time doing all things automotive as the most recent president of a private vintage car club, collecting post-war cars and vintage racing his Formula Atlantic.  Rob is a supporter of the Ironstone Concours and he is also the Chairman of the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance – the longest continually running Concours in the world.

Firman Brown serves on the Ironstone Concours Board of Directors as well as the Sonora Regional Horseless Carriage Club and he is in his third year on the Calaveras County Grand Jury. His career included farming, working for a wholesale liquor, beer, and wine distributor, and eventually purchasing his own distributorship, which he eventually sold. He lived in Pebble Beach for 30 years and had a great relationship with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and after moving to Calaveras County, he founded The Friends of the Calaveras County Fair and the Jumping Frog Jubilee. Today he is the Project Manager for the Utica Hotel restoration and development when he is not in his shop playing with and working on his old cars.

Charles Test is part of the Ragtime Racers, a group the racer Brian Blain put together where he runs Blain Motorsports Foundation. There Charles helps research the various automobiles they restore. Charles is the great-grandson of Charles E. Test, one of the founders of the National Motor Vehicle Company in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1900-1924. He graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 1978 and lives in Minneapolis. He got into motorcycles and his first bike was a 1938 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead. He’s had Nashes, a Studebaker, an Edsel, and a Chevy pickup. He started the website Chuckstoyland.com in 2006 where he shares his collections of historic postcards and photos. Charles got into vintage racing in 2014 as a Mechanician with Brian in a 1911 National Racer that Charlie Merz drove to a 7^th place finish in the first Indy 500. Today Charles pilots his own 1911 National Speedway Roadster.

Gail Kautz is the Vice-Chairman of Ironstone Vineyards and is involved in all aspects of the family farming operation in Lodi, California. She and her husband John have been married over 60 years and started the Ironstone Concours in 1996. Her education, career, commissions, and board appointments are vast and cover decades of service in California. Her son Stephen is the oldest of their four children and is a third-generation California farmer. He is the President of Ironstone Winery, located in the Sierra Foothills town of Murphys. He is involved in numerous organizations promoting Calaveras County, is a Director of the California Association of Wine Grape Growers, and is past Director of the California Wine Institute. He is also a board member of the Ironstone Concours Foundation that has raised over a million dollars for its charities.

Ryan Skelly is the Sales Manager at Mercedes Benz of Stockton in California. His dealership is a sponsor of the Ironstone Concours. For over 30 years, Mercedes Benz of Stockton has earned trust through sincere customer service in their state of the art dealership. They provide new and used cars along with their Certified Technician care team. Ryan began his automotive career working with his father who sold Fords in the 80s in Ohio. He passed out flags and popcorn on sales days and he says if he closes his eyes, and thinks of those days, he can still recall the new-car smell of a new Ford. His career began at Prospect Motors in Jackson and he’s been with Mercedes Benz of Stockton for 3 years.

Debbie Briscoe is a wife, mother, former teacher, and vintage race car driver. She spent 25 years teaching and mentoring children, parents, and fellow teachers. Then one day, while enjoying time at the race track she decided to get a racing license. She quickly became a favorite in the annual ProFormance Ladies Track Day at Pacific Raceways where they called her ‘Speed Racer’. She attended the Bondurant Racing School and started racing at tracks including Pacific Raceways, Portland, Spokane, Road America, Indianapolis, and Daytona. In her second season, she added tracks including Sonoma and Laguna Seca. She races with her husband and sons and has been interviewed by past Cars Yeah guest Bob Varsha on Motor Trend and today she has friends who include: Brian Redman, Lyn St. James, and Karen Salvaggio, all past guests on Cars Yeah, plus a whole lot of other racers.

Cassie Nunes is the Host and Event Coordinator of the 5^th Annual ADA Charity Car Show that takes place Sunday, November 17 at the MB2 Raceway in Thousand Oaks, California. The show is an annual charity showcase of beautiful cars including classics, domestics, modified and exotics that all come together to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. Their mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by this disease. Cassie owns a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu and was born and raised into a family of automotive enthusiasts. Her father was a drag racer and her mom builds and shows cars. Being a Type 1 Diabetic, she has discovered how to combine her passion for cars and raise money to fight diabetes. 

Kelly Whitton serves as the Director of the Copperstate 1000 Vintage Car Road Rally, as well as the Copperstate Overland Vintage Off-Roading Adventure. Kelly started her career in Washington DC working for a small lobby and political fundraising firm. In 2005, after spending six years teaching English in South Korea and traveling the world, she found herself in Arizona and in the employment of the organizers of the Copperstate 1000 – an event that would change her life. Kelly spends as much of her free time as possible in or around vintage cars. She served as a judge at the Santa Fe Concorso for four years, participates in numerous rallies across the US, and most recently completed and won her class in the 2019 Peking to Pairs Endurance Race.

Kai Goddard is the Co-Founder and Driver/Coach at Track Rekord a company born out of a need to provide consistent, high-quality track day driver instruction across the US and Canada. The ultimate goal of Track Record is to reduce risk, improved safety, increased enjoyment, lower lap times, and reduce insurance costs. He was born into a racing family, the son of two-time World Superstox Champion and former factory BMW Touring Car racer Geoff Goddard. Kai has over 24 years of racing, testing, development, marketing, driving events, coaching, precision driving, and high-performance driving experience. He’s run in SCCA Formula Vee, Improved Touring Car, American Sedan to Factory Stocks, Short Track Racing, PBOC Racing, and NASA Pro Racing. Andy Lee is the Co-Founder and Driver/Coach at Track Rekord a company born out of a need to provide consistent, high-quality track day driver instruction across the US and Canada. The ultimate goal of Track Record is to reduce risk, improved safety, increased enjoyment, lower lap times, and reduce insurance costs. Andy is both a driver and a mechanic who has raced since 2003. He’s run in the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup and in the Pirelli World Challenge Series in a Camaro. He garnered Rookie of the Year honors and a second place in the Championship. Since 2008 Andy has recorded 8 wins, 24 podiums, and 11 poles and he has raced in several series including IMSA Continental Series, Trans Am, NASA, and SCORE Off-Road Racing. He’s tested and raced a variety of cars including Lamborghini, Cadillac, and Porsche. 

Steve Kimpton is the Director of Operations at Track Rekord, a company born out of a need to provide consistent, high-quality track day driver instruction across the US and Canada. The ultimate goal of Track Record is to reduce risk, improve safety, increase enjoyment, lower lap times, and reduce insurance costs. Steve has a Masters Degree in Engineering, Economics, and Management from Oxford University. He is a retired consulting actuary who loves to race. He built his first sports car after leaving university and restores English roadsters. He started racing in 2005 in a Lotus Elise and has competed at Lime Rock, Monticello, and was one of only three US drivers to compete in the Jaguar Simola Hillclimb in South Africa, driving a Saleen Mustang. Steve joined Track Rekord after it was founded by past Cars Yeah guests, Kai Goddard, and Andy Lee. They realized that two professional racing drivers left to their own devices might be a little problematic. Steve brings his business background to the table and is the voice of reason behind Track Rekord.

Patrick Kelley is an author with a fascination for all things automotive. About 15 years ago he expanded this passion and started collecting original automobile concept art. These are drawings and paintings of what future automobiles might look like. He decided that these designs, that came out of art schools across America, and the ‘Big Three’ automotive manufacturing companies, had to be shared. Today he shares his new book, Imagine! Automobile Concept Art From the 1930s to the 1980s, published by Dalton Watson Fine Books. Jeff Stumb is the Director of the Great Race, an annual vintage automotive driving event that has taken in the United States for 36 years. The drive has grown to unprecedented heights, from a record number of rookies to the overall number of teams. Jeff grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and saw the Great Race for the first time in 1987. He participated in the event in 1994 competing through the years with friends, his father, and his wife. He had a career in the newspaper business for almost 25 years and has owned over 150 classic cars ranging from a 1916 Hudson to a 1965 Chevrolet Bel Air. The Great Race began in 1983 and has raised thousands of dollars for charity. In 2010 Corky Coker of Coker Tires took over leadership and the company he founded owns the event to this day under the leadership of past Cars Yeah guest, Wade Kawasaki.

Sawyer Dell’Aquila is a 21-year-old automotive enthusiast who works at On The Road Again Classics as an apprentice technician in Morgan Hill, California. The company was started in 2008 by Bill Hiland and they do everything under one roof in a 12,000 square foot facility. The team specializes in high-quality restoration for classic British automobiles. Sawyer owns a project ‘67 MGB, modified first-generation Miata, and a family-owned-since-new, 5 speed ‘91 Acura Integra with 1/4 million miles. Inspired to create his own business giving vintage cars a new life with modern touches, Sawyer hopes to appeal to more people in the classic car market. His goal is to bring a younger crowd attracted to cars that are slowly being forgotten. Regular Cars Yeah listeners will remember I had Sawyer’s father, Dave, on the show a few months ago.

Zef Eisenberg is the CEO of Eisenberg Racing, a specialized engineering company with a talented team that works to develop some of the world’s most extreme and powerful motorbikes, cars, quads, and land speed vehicles. His MADMAX Race Team is behind multiple world land speed records on bikes, quads, and in cars. This team is most known for its dedication to racing and building turbine-powered motorbikes for extreme speed. MADMAX Racing holds numerous Guinness World, British and Local Guernsey records. Michael Miles is a filmmaker and co-director whose most recent production is a film documentary titled Rapid Response that will be in movie theaters September 6 and beyond. You’ll recall past Cars Yeah guest Dr. Stephen Olvey who wrote the book Rapid Response, a story about his life working in motorsport to save drivers who have been in racing accidents. Michael was born disabled and his experience gave him a conquering spirit plus the ability to overcome adversity along with great respect for modern medicine. Over the past 15 years, he has worked as an editor on Independent film Documentaries and in 2014 he and Roger Hinze formed A Mile A Way Productions and their first television documentary is Rapid Response. The film also honors one of the doctors who took care of him when Michael was a child, Dr. Jerry Trammell.

Michael Giusti is a journalist, insurance expert, and automotive enthusiast with a special interest in electric vehicles with more than 20 years of writing to his credit. He specializes in business and financial reporting, including the insurance and automotive industry. Michael has worked at a daily newspaper in Florida and at a regional business journal in New Orleans, as well as for magazines and websites across the country and around the globe. He is also the chairman of the Journalism Department at Loyola University New Orleans. Michael is here today to talk about his career and a recent NetQuote article by a colleague Jason Hargraves, an insurance specialist, and freelance writer. Boston native, George Levy, is an author, the former editor of Autoweek Magazine, and is the director of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. He is also the author of multiple books on motorsports, including 2016’s Can-Am 50th Anniversary, a project on which he worked with the late and deeply missed photographer Pete Biro, who was a past Cars Yeah guest. The great racer Sam Posey said about the book, “Your book is just fantastic. As far as I know, you've got the facts exactly right, which must have been the product of a lot of hard work and good thinking.” His current book, F1 Mavericks:  The Men and Machines that Revolutionized Formula 1 Racing is a sweeping account of the most innovative and glamorous period in Formula One racing history, 1958 through 1982. The forward is by Mario Andretti and the afterward is by the late Niki Lauda.

Francis Abate decided to reinvent himself after twenty-five years in sales, consulting, and business development in the defense industry, by going to McPherson College. He returned to school to pursue his passion for automotive restoration and preservation. While in his second year of school he is the Vice President for CARS Club, facilitating fellow students' involvement in a variety of activities involving cars and fundraising. Francis is focusing on craftsmanship skills in sheet metal restoration, trim, upholstery, electrical systems, and woodworking. A few of his projects include a Jaguar D-Type Race Car, a 1953 Mercedes Benz 300S Cabriolet and a 1951 Mercury Coupe. Over the years Mike has been active in community service and the International M100 Group, a Daimler/Mercedes Benz sanctioned club.

Andrew Evans is a young American race car driver currently competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the LMP2 category and he is the 2019 12 Hours of Sebring winner. Andrew raced in both Europe and the United States in 2017 and 2018. This included several podium finishes, a win, and numerous pole positions in the British LMP3 Cup with teammate and recently retired 2x All-Star MLB player, CJ Wilson.  Andrew also raced select events in the IMSA Prototype Challenge Championship for Charles Wicht Racing and Performance Tech Motorsports. Andrew is on-track virtually every week, as lead instructor for ProFormance Racing School in Seattle, a school past Cars Yeah guest Don Kitch owns and operates.  He also travels frequently to drive professionally at marketing events for auto manufacturers including Jaguar and McLaren.

Aaron Shelby is the Executive Vice President at Legacy Texas where he and his team operate as the Subsidiary Manager overseeing LegacyTexas Title, Mortgage, and Commercial Lending. He also operates the Shelby family timber business in East Texas – JFS Timber Partners. In 2016 Aaron was named to the Board of Carroll Shelby International, the umbrella organization under with the Shelby entities operates. In this role, he acts as brand ambassador for Shelby and helps to maintain the relationship with Ford Motor Company. His charity work includes being on the Board of Directors of the Carroll Shelby Foundation and the NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship). Aaron Shelby is the grandson of Texas racing legend Carroll Shelby.

Tim Medvetz is the Founder of The Heroes Project, a foundation that makes the impossible a reality by empowering our injured veterans through physical and emotional training. He and his team organize expeditions to challenge vets who have been severely wounded to redefine their personal limits post-injury. Tim is a custom motorcycle builder and rider who built bikes for the Hollywood elite. He is a lifelong wanderer, nomad, and natural extreme athlete who rode his chopper across the country numerous times. He was a member of the notorious Hells Angels motorcycle club and has traveled all over the world. His adventures have taken him to Mt. Everest which he has summited and it was one of those treks that inspired Tim to take a wounded veteran to Everest and to start The Heroes Project, a foundation dedicated to raising funds to help more severely injured men and women veterans.

Jason Fiorito has been President of Pacific Raceways for 17 years, and President of Pacific Innovation Center for 6 years. Jason is responsible for financing, strategic planning, governmental relations, master planning and developing track and innovation center relationships and partners. Jason was instrumental in working with local governments to secure legislation that allows for the development and improvements that are planned for Pacific Raceways, including Pacific Innovation Center, a tech campus designed to accelerate innovation in automotive technology. He is the third generation of his family to have involvement with the Kent facility. Prior to becoming raceway and Innovation Center President, Jason worked in the family’s heavy highway construction business in quarrying, mining, and commercial development. 

Ryan ZumMallen is the founder of Carrara Media and the author of its first title, Slow Car Fast: The Millennial Mantra Changing Car Culture for Good, which is available for preorder now. Most recently, Ryan served as Senior Writer for Trucks.com and his freelance work has appeared in Road & Track, The Verge, Autobytel, and many other publications. Steven Posner is the CEO and Partner at Putnam Leasing, a company he joined in 1983. Putnam is the largest independent lessor of exotic and collectible automobiles in the country. Putnam has over a quarter billion dollars in high-end motorcars in its fleet employing over 25 specialists and offices from coast to coast. Steven started in the leasing business at the age of 18 and worked at several different companies in a variety of roles. He has been a member of the National Vehicle Leasing Association since 1989 and served as chapter Chairman of the New York-New Jersey Connecticut chapter from 2000 to 2002. He also serves on the executive board of the Carrington Charitable Foundation, an organization that assists severely wounded war veterans. 

His colleague, Karen Sundstrom, is a past Cars Yeah guest and is a Finance Specialist for Putnam Leasing in Orange County California.

Matt Nasworthy is the Florida Public Affairs Director for AAA – The Auto Club Group. He has worked at AAA for over 20 years with expertise in Learning and Development and Public Relations. In 2007, Matt developed an innovative training curriculum for Road Service technicians. It focused primarily on safety at the roadside and this program has continued to reduce crashes, injuries, and damages in 11 states. Matt also spent several years managing the Teen Driver Safety and Impaired Driving Programs for the Auto Club Group Traffic Safety Foundation. AAA is a huge supporter of the Gasparilla Concourse, an annual event that takes place in April. Through AAA’s support, the Concours donated over $20,000 to Shriners Hospital for children.

Ben Tarlow is the Owner of Mid-Century Motoring located an hour outside of New York City in the beautiful Hudson River Valley. They are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured classic car dealer and brokerage firm accepting consignment, sourcing cars for clients, and providing auction consulting. Each classic automobile is treated as a personal automobile while in Ben’s care. Ben originally worked in the auction industry and soon embarked on purchasing unique cars out of Europe and that lead to an import business. He is also an avid vintage racer who campaigns an old Mini and a ’59 Bugeye Sprite. Today Ben is embarking on a large expansion of the business and starting with a new facility in the very near future.

Rick Ivester is the Founder and Owner of The Vault Tampa Bay, located in Tampa, Florida. The Vault is respected and recognized for their “Fine Preservation and Storage Solutions”. It’s the ideal place for their clients to store exotic and classic automobiles. Rick also offers Brokerage Services for cars, limited and rare race collectibles, automobilia and petrolina related items that are for sale.  His entrepreneur nature started at the early age of 6 when he sold his pencil-drawn pictures of early model Ford roadsters to fellow classmates for their lunch money.  In addition to The Vault, trucking has been Rick’s primary business for the last 42 years working for 3 large corporations and as an independent salesperson for the last 12 years. 

Rick is on the Board of Directors of the Gasparilla Concourse, an annual event that takes place in April. He has been instrumental in gathering business owners and fellow philanthropists to donate good and services for their annual charity event. Through those efforts, they have donated over $20,000 to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.

Jenifer ‘Jeni’ Swanson is a member of the Board of Directors for Athena Racing, an organization founded by past Cars Yeah guest Loxley Browne, designed to support young women in racing. Jeni is a racer herself who loves to wrench on her cars, both race cars, and vintage cars. She and her daughter are restoring a 1964 Ford Ranchero. Her career started in commercial real estate and property management more than 20 years ago. She went back to law school and has been a practicing real estate attorney since 2012 where she helps commercial landlords with their transactional needs. She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and Corvette Magazine for her racing and she is a Super Lawyer’s Rising Star for two consecutive years. Jeni is also a member of the Executive Committee for the California Lawyer’s Association Real Property Law Section.

Christopher Pagani is the Head of Marketing for Pagani Automobili America. Pagani Automobili is an Italian manufacturer of spectacular sports cars and pioneer in the carbon fiber technology. The company was founded in 1998 by Christopher’s father Horacio Pagani and is based in San Cesario Sul Panaro, near Modena, Italy. Christopher is currently living in the United States where he has been developing and supporting the Pagani dealer network in North America. He organizes and manages Pagani corporate events and activations bringing awareness about the brand through the press, media, and PR activities. You’ll see a Pagani at the Concept Car Display, on the upper lawn at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.  

Ed Loh is the Senior Vice President of content at MotorTrend Group and serves as Editor-in-Chief for MotorTrend. He has nearly 20 years of experience in automotive journalism and has held leadership positions as Editor-in-Chief of Import Racer! Magazine (managing editor of Road & Track's Speed magazine, and editor-in-chief of Sport Compact Car. Ed moved to MotorTrend in the spring of 2007, became its executive editor in 2010 and then editor-in-chief in 2011. In his time with MotorTrend, the brand has become the leading automotive enthusiast magazine and the industry leader across the web, social media, and video. In February 2016, Ed was promoted to senior vice president, in-market content for MotorTrend Group, overseeing the editorial direction of MotorTrend and Automobile magazines. In April 2018, this role was expanded to include all automotive content for the MotorTrend Group.

Jackie Frady is the President and Executive Director at the National Automobile Museum/The Harrah Collection in Reno Nevada. Her career in the collector car field began in 1981 with the former Harrah’s Automobile Collection. Following a progression of management positions, she was promoted to Executive Director and later elected President. During her tenure, the Museum was named one of the Top 10 Auto Museums in the nation many times over. Since 1995 Jackie has been an honorary judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, one of a few women to serve in this role. She is a 2015 Top Business Woman of the American Business Women’s Association. She’s helped author and edit two books published by the Museum, Against All Odds and a souvenir book about the Museum’s history. She also helped produce a short film, The Bill Harrah Story and The Legendary Journey to the Museum. 

Nic Waller worked for twenty years as the Marketing and Design Director for the Lavenham Group in England where they specialized in the publication of fine automotive books. His passion for old cars is genetic, born of parents who shared with him the golden age of British motor racing. His father Derek Waller raced Bentleys in the 1950s and 60s. In 2006, Nic joined the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance as an automotive consultant representing the Concours in Europe. He is also a member of the Pebble Beach Concours Selection Committee and a familiar voice as the Pebble Beach Award Show announcer on Concours Sunday. Nic is a class judge at several Concours in Europe and Japan as well as being the Chief Judge at the Valletta Concours in Malta and at the Warren Concours in England.

Sandra Button has been the Chairman of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance since 2002. She was the Executive Director for decades prior and has helped to inspire and guide the growth of the collector car hobby into a truly global celebration of the automobile. Sandra participates and officiates automotive events from Asia and the Middle East to South America. She and her husband, Martin, have an eclectic collection of automobiles that they drive in events including the Mille Miglia, the 1000 Millas Sport Argentina, the London to Brighten Veteran Car Run and many others. She’s a member of the Royal Automobile Club, the Classic Car Club of America, the Motor Press Guild, along with the Society of Automotive Historians.

Brook Banham is the Founder and Owner of Middlecott Design, based in downtown Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from Coventry University with a BA in Transport Design, Brook has undertaken a number of projects working mainly as a vehicle and industrial designer for Fortune 500 companies as a concept designer such as Daimler/ Benz, Volkswagen, BMW, Puma, Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, HP, Motorola, Hot Wheels, and Sony Entertainment.  Today his company provides graphic, industrial, and automotive design services for companies including Hasbro Transformers, Delta Airlines, Mobsteel, Ford, General Motors, Ram, and many others. He has also been teaching product, fashion and transport design sketching at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) part-time for 3 years now. Brook also founded Middlecott Sketchbattle Championships, the Fight Club of Design; a live automotive design sketching competition and party blowout held annually at the LA Auto Show, SEMA, Detroit Auto Show, and at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Troy Dunn is the Founder of Branded Title Marketplace, the world’s only website dedicated exclusively to branded Title vehicles. Branded vehicles are those that have experienced an insurance incident and are then reconditioned. Troy is known to millions of TV viewers as “The Locator”. He has been on national TV for over 28 years and he along with his team have reunited over 40,000 families worldwide. He has made over 500 appearances on national TV and been interviewed by Oprah, Barbara Walters, and Dr. Phil. With a deep appreciation for rebuilt cars and trucks, Troy is setting out to change the narrative around branded vehicles. Through podcasting, magazine, and television he and his team are working to celebrate and elevate the value of salvage vehicles and the talented people who rebuild them.

Jim Cantrell is an American entrepreneur, mechanical engineer, and road racer. He is CEO and co-founder of Vector Launch, Inc.  After working at the French Space Agency CNES (Centre Nationale D’Etudes Spatiales) and the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab, he worked as an independent consultant to aerospace companies for fifteen years and was on the founding teams of SpaceX and Moon Express.  Jim received the NASA Innovation Award for Mars Balloon Technology in 1989. He is also the author of twenty technical papers. Jim also participates in road racing and has run in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill at Thunderhill Raceway and he’s raced in the 24 Hours of Daytona Classic. In 2005, he founded Vintage Exotics Competition Engineering, which designs and restores race cars.

Ed Greco has been the poster and event artist for the Carmel Mission Classic. He spent the bulk of his career as the owner of a marketing agency with the emphasis on advertising and collateral production for companies both nationally and internationally. His scope of work included assignments in TV and corporate image film production, animation, art direction, illustrating and cartooning. With several national awards, his work is displayed in the U.S. as well as Europe and the Middle East. Though retired from the agency world, Mr. Greco remains active as a consultant and gallery artist with special emphasis on commission assignments for personalized art projects.

Hilary Noack is the Owner of Ink N Iron, a shop specializing in classic car restoration, custom work, and empowering women. Her business is an all-female, auto body repair shop where she also encourages the next generation of female techs through teaching. Hilary got into the trade at the age of 17 and while attending trade school, she was the only woman in her classes throughout her school years. Knowing she would one day have her own shop, she set out to make it different than her competition, all the while noticing more women were entering the trade. After hearing their stories of struggle and discrimination and how they overcame those challenges working in a male-dominated field, she was inspired. After running an IndieGoGo campaign to fund her startup she hit the ground running and Ink N Iron opened the doors in April of 2015.

Rod Egan is the Owner and Chief Auctioneer at Worldwide Auctioneers. He has managed some of the largest auctions and collections in North America and held senior positions at a number of the world's leading auction houses. Frank is a 25 year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department, an undercover narco cop whose undercover name was Frankie Apollo, and he was a detective and patrol officer as well. Rob Waller is a Sales and Leasing Consultant with Kuni Lexus of Portland, in Portland, Oregon.
