Sawyer Dell’Aquila is a 21-year-old automotive enthusiast who works at On The Road Again Classics as an apprentice technician in Morgan Hill, California. The company was started in 2008 by Bill Hiland and they do everything under one roof in a 12,000 square foot facility. The team specializes in high-quality restoration for classic British automobiles. Sawyer owns a project ‘67 MGB, modified first-generation Miata, and a family-owned-since-new, 5 speed ‘91 Acura Integra with 1/4 million miles. Inspired to create his own business giving vintage cars a new life with modern touches, Sawyer hopes to appeal to more people in the classic car market. His goal is to bring a younger crowd attracted to cars that are slowly being forgotten. Regular Cars Yeah listeners will remember I had Sawyer’s father, Dave, on the show a few months ago. |
