Steve Darnell is the creative force behind Welder Up, an automotive shop in Las Vegas, Nevada where they build some of the wildest rat rods ever created. Beyond cars Steve also creates short films, music videos, and creative-man interior designs. Fueled by the desire to prove the naysayers wrong, Steve has always been determined to exceed everyone's expectations. Originally from Montana, Steve is a rancher turned car-artist and has built Welder Up into a very successful business. He refuses to compromise on his cars, expecting perfection out of every build and everyone on his talented and unique team. Paul Ehrmann is an author whose latest book, Arc of Triumph, is emphatically a novel with automobiles at its beating heart: And it is the culmination of a passion for motorcars Paul has embraces throughout his life. This novel is about the French Grand Prix drivers and their involvement in the Resistance during World War II. Eric Peterson is the Manager at Leydon Restorations in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Founded by Chris Leydon in 1973, they preserve and restore classic and vintage engines. Eric’s passion for art and crafts took him to the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he earned a degree in Industrial Design. He worked as a designer where they manufactured class rings exposing him to modern manufacturing technologies including 3D design software and CNC programming of machine tools plus injection molding and 3D modeling. He’s raced a Datsun 510 in the GT3 class in SCCA on tracks including Elkhart Lake, Brainerd, and Blackhawk Farms. After meeting Chris Leydon Eric joined Leydon Restorations where he and their team combine their talents with a passion for automobiles.

Philip Richter is the Founder and Publisher of Turtle Garage, a weekly journal focusing on collector cars and vintage motorcycles. He periodically writes for Sports Car Market magazine and is a vintage automobile and motorcycle collector. Philip is also the President and Co-Founder of Hollow Brook Wealth Management in New York City. They are an SEC registered independent wealth management firm that serves families, foundations, endowments, pension plans, and individuals. Philip enjoys horsepower from a different source and he is an avid equestrian show jumper and has campaigned his horses on the “A” show circuit for over three decades. He serves as Treasurer of the United States Equestrian Team Foundation and sits on the Board of Directors of the Lake Placid Horse Show, Hampton Classic Horse Show, and the Unites States Equestrian Federation.

Howard Freers is a retired automotive professional and enthusiast who spent over four decades between the Chrysler Corporation and the Ford Motor Company. His career included roles in engineering, powertrain systems, electrical engineering, and many other titles as Chief Engineering and in executive roles. Howard is a Society of Automotive Engineers Fellow, a Distinguished Senior Member, an Engineering Society of Detroit Fellow, Eminent Engineer – Tau Beta Pi, and has an Honorary Doctor of Engineering via Rose Hulman. He is also a Trustee and Board of Managers – Rose Polytechnic and Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. Howard’s son David Freers is a past guest here on Cars Yeah.

Morgan Brady is the Team Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Core Autosport. He is also the Managing Partner for Composite Resources. By combining his expertise as a leader in composite manufacturing and running racing teams Core won IMSA Championships in 2011, 2012, and 2013. In 2014 Core Autosport was awarded a contract from Porsche to operate all of the German brands top level racing in North America. That partnership resulted in Porsche winning the IMSA Manufacture Championship in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 Morgan expanded his sites and he acquired an interest in Composite Resources and he is focused on transforming the business in to the premier Tier-3 composites supplier to the aerospace industry.

Wayne Long is life-long car guy whose love for cars started at the early age of 2. He would accompany his family to the SCCA races to support his Uncle who raced a Bug-eye Sprite and later a Fiat OSCA. As Wayne entered the teenage years he quenched his thirst for competition by racing Motocross. By the time Wayne finished college, and started working as a Civil Engineer, he had switched from motorcycles to cars and began Autocrossing. Wayne spent 21 years practicing Engineering before he finally got his opportunity to enter the automotive industry. Opening Mid-Atlantic Sports Cars 10 years ago, Wayne and his childhood friends, Rick and David Biafora, chased their dream. Since becoming a full-time automotive junkie Wayne has become a regular on the national auction circuit buying investment cars for his high-end clients. In addition, Wayne has become a Concours judge supporting events such as the Cortile at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix as well as the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance and he is the Executive Director of the new Greenbrier Concours d'Elegance.
